Heard on Sirius NFL radio on my lunch break that Falcon HC Mike Smith announced that Matt Ryan and Michael Turner are not practicing today. I would be very surprised if they played this Sunday since Wednesdays is usually the day they install the game plan. Turner did play like 2-3 weeks ago though after not practicing all week. They are out of the playoff hunt now, so I would be surprised to see either of them on the field this week.

I didn't expect Turner to play, but if Ryan is out again, too, then we really should win this one. Put Revis on Roddy, and how would they score on us?

If it's thursday and he's not practicing I think it'd a good bet to say Ryan's out this weekend.

Good news for us is that Mark is practicing today, and looks to be starting this week.

Ryan and Turner are banged up either way. The Jets need to win this game.

My first thought when I saw the title was Rex Ryan and Robert Turner!

Redmon and Snelling looked good in their places last week, just watched that game last night. Of course they might be deflated off the close loss, playing out in the cold and not vs an undefeated division rival. Still, I've seen the visiting sideline celebrating right in front of me too many times to get real comfortable until it's over.

I was afraid people were gonna think I was making a post about Ryan Seacrest and Tina Turner.

Tina wouldn't have to worry about getting beat up again in that scenario. She'd kick his ass.

well the weather is showing signs of being nice on Sunday so that won't be a factor. Possibly having to worry about Ryan having to scramble a lot and get hit might have them give him another week off instead of bringing him back against the #1 defense in the league without his #1 RB on the road.

Redman shows how a veteran backup QB should perform. He has been good for them so this game is no gimme no matter who starts.

I Think one of them will play but if they both sit then we need to win it.

this would be a good game to get sanchez back into the flow of things before his big showdown with manning's back up.

With the Jets, it's never a gimme.

Yeah, I was just gonna say that. How do you think we will defend Gonzalez? This is the first really good pass catching TE we've faced all season, he could kill us if we aren't prepared.

Definitely. Hopefully having Revis Island out there will allow them to have some extra help on Gonzalez. We tend to get ripped up by good TE's and slot receivers.
