Ok guys. 3rd string or Achem String. Based on everything who do you think should get cut from the team? All options out there. RUSHING -------------ATT YDS TD LG C. Houston 25 108 0 15 L. Washington 8 28 0 9 Just tonights stats.
I doubt anyone will get cut, but this Barlow deal is looking pretty dumb. Houston looks like an identical runner, but they never gave him a chance. None of them have been unimpressive enough to cut. I liked Jamar Martin's blocking tonight, and Askew is a decent receiver.
Is that really an option? Keeping them all? And don't forget Martin. No way in hell I'm giving up on him yet. Too me the backs we don't need are Barlow and Blaylock. Barlow didn't even play tonight!
You have to keep them all. The Barlow deal doesn't look good at this point. I loved the Suggs deal, not really the Barlow one. I think we have to keep them all though until someone distinguishes himself. Right now, Houston fits our needs the least though.
Houston is still my guy to get cut from that four, if any have to be cut. I would keep all four. I might cut Askew, but if he can play a decent FB, then he is worth keeping. I still think that while Blaylock gets the start in Tennesse, he will lose the job to Barlow in week 2.
Leon Washington seems to be equal or a little worse than Houston. We need to cut the guy with less potential...Washington
are you serious.... why would we cut washington..we JUST drafted him, theres no way we cut a rookie we just used a 4th rounder on i myself am pretty upset we signed barlow...no need for him whatsoever
But Washington is much better on special teams that that is huge...I say all four make it with Houston saving his job tonight.
Keep them all. Washington is a return specialist, use him for that his rookie year, and rotate the other 3.
We need to see what Barlow does first...if the guy gets 1200+ yards we will all be singing his praises. C-Mart loves him and I think most value his opinion.
Don't know why you say that - Washington earned a spot by his Special Teams play alone. I say keep all 4. Can't see cutting Barlow already, especially after giving up a 4th rounder.
This might be kind of rah rah... But maybe having brought in Barlow really has created more competition at this position and has made this specific unit focus. I say keep all four with their trade value increased and pull a trigger on a deal at some point during the season for the odd man out.
If Barlow were to get cut don't we get the pick back? Similar thing with the Pete Hunter trade with the old regime. He didn't make the roster, we got our 6th rounder back.
