Rumor: Coles and Chad to Chiefs!

Carl Peterson is not that dumb, the question is he that desperate?

 

I read about this rumor on another site....and i just don't believe it.

 

I wouldn't love this trade.... I think it's about even. What everyone needs to remember is how well Cotchery does when Coles is in, and vice versa. If we get rid of Coles, getting a top WR becomes a top priority...

 

Because Coles is damaged and older, getting a top flight WR is a priority anyway. The picks help us move in that direction.

 

haahhah....wishful thinking.

 

Chiefs cant possibly do this....Can they?

So they would give up a top 10 pick ALONG WITH more picks for two guys who are already in their 30's and both are injury plagued?

Sign me up if theres a deal on the table..........I would feel terrible for the Chiefs fans if this does happen though.

 

I will burn every jet item I have. Trade your top Wr makes no sense. So were trading Chad, Coles, Vilma, Ellis, J mac, D-Rob this year WOW!! ANyone wanna add anyone? All the teams captians were gonna trade.

 

We create more holes to fill now. this team will never get off the ground. We need lineman not wrs.

 

We can get TWO major impact players with our own pick and the Chiefs pick which looks pretty good right now.

We can get BOTH Chris Long and Vernon Gholston.........

 

This is coles 1st time he sat out in all his yrs and your calling him injury plagued??

 

MORE unproven guys come on already.

 

We need lineman and WR and LB and maybe a QB. I herd this same nonesense when we resigned Wayne who should have been cut for his own protection. Coles value is dropping every day that he plays and gets his bell wrong another time.

 

I highly doubt that this trad ewas brought up in the middle of the season anyhow. We dont even know what pick the cheifs will hold.

 

I'd make this deal the second the trade window opens, but I am not buying this rumor right now.

 

if this happens this would huge for us , yeah it would leave a void at wideout but this years wr class is deep and we could find a great one in the second.

 

Coles is the biggest playmaker we have.

 

there is NO way the chiefs make that deal...the chiefs would replace the jets as the laughing stock of the league.....it makes some sense from a personnel standpoint for the chiefs - they have the runner and a very good young receiver in bowe, along with gonzalez. they would essentially be surrounding penny with the stud players he needed to be more succesful here in NY...but at he cost of a top 10 pick...no way. peterson would be showing utter desperation.

however....i like coles as much as the next guy but if there is a time to move him for some value it would be this offseason....

regardless, WR has to be a top priority next april or in FA.

It's a great trade, BUT this WR class seems far from deep to me. It seems pretty awful from top to bottom.
