    Ben Roethlisberger-QB-Steelers Apr. 21 - 11:47 am et

The Steelers have begun contacting teams to trade Ben Roethlisberger for a top-10 pick, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

This takes Tuesday's Pittsburgh Post-Gazette report a step further. The Steelers are reportedly being proactive, and with at least one team currently in the top ten considering a deal. According to ESPN's Chris Mortensen, it is not the Rams. A Roethlisberger trade now looks like a real possibility, with the Steelers perhaps targeting Jimmy Clausen at the top of the draft.

WTF are the Steelers doing!? I so hope they do this since we play them... and I hope the Raiders get him so next year's 1st rounder won't be so high.

I thought this the other day, but I have a feeling he will be traded tomorrow. Either Oakland or Jacksonville.

Wow. He's a douchebag and deserves to be run over by a car but trading your 2 time SB winning QB because he's a prick off the field? A little bit drastic if you ask me.

If he goes to the Bills I think there is no doubt that the AFC East is the best division in football. Buffalo is dragging that division down now, but if they have get Ben...

i could see the Bills doing that. No doubt this would make the AFC East the oddist division in the NFL.

South Africa is rated number 1 in rapes per capita.

Maybe they have a rising star who's not big into rape.

The Rooney's are going crazy with their "morals". Here's a good question that I heard on NFLN last night. What NFL championship team didn't have 1 bad boy/diva/troube-maker, etc on their team?

Like the Eagles, the Steelers don't deserve Big Ben. Having said that, I hope a NFC team takes him.

I don't blame the Rooney's one bit. I wouldn't want a guy that at best is a quasi rapist and at worst a sodomizing piece of shit. That said Santonio only smokes some weed............

The guy's fucked them 3 times. They got 2 Super Bowls out of him...time to move on.

They have a great system, if they trade into the top 10 and take Claussen it would be insane.

This may be good for the Jets if they can deal Roethlisberger to the Browns, the Steelers take their spot and take a QB...Berry falls and Earl Thomas possibly could fall far enough opening up the opportunity for the Jets to trade up.

I hope he gets traded to Oakland so that they do well and the Patriots don't get a top 10 pick since they get their 2011 pick.

Holy SH*T, PLEASE let him go to th Browns.

I would be getting the greatest, most entertaining, angry, all-caps, tirade filled e-mails from all of my college buddies (went to school in Ohio). I'd pay $200 right now if he could get traded to the Browns.

According to NFL Network's Jason La Canfora, the Raiders are in contact with the Steelers about a trade for Ben Roethlisberger.

La Canfora says Oakland "might be (the) only real option" for Pittsburgh if the Steelers are truly prepared to wash their hands of the 28-year-old QB. The Raiders, smartly (for once), appear to have realized that JaMarcus Russell is a bust, and very arguably the biggest in NFL history. The Steelers might ask for Nnamdi Asomugha in addition to Oakland's No. 8 overall pick. Apr. 21 - 3:30 pm et
