I'm not a Rodney Harrison fan, as he seems to be one of those "analysts" who just tries to stir the pot with his commentary. Rodney Harrison is correct that Geno probably isn't ever going to be a good NFL quarterback. It doesn't change the fact that Harrison is a punk who was one of the dirtiest players ever. And now he is barely intelligible on Sunday Night in America where he continues to be a ridiculous Cheatriot homer. Watching Tyree catch that pass against him was pretty funny though.

Dumbest article ever. He basically implies that because we don't have a quarterback we should not be signing guys like Revis and trading for Marshall. He says we should have spent our money on a QB but is such a Pats homer that he doesn't care to use logic and understand there were no QB's.

Amaro playing more snaps than Cumberland. Someone other than Brian Winters at guard. A healthy Eric Decker. HOPEFULLY some decent rookies but we shall see. No one we draft at QB will take us to a championship this year either.
Harrison is just playing the contrarian. We went 8-8 in Geno's rookie year with a jag receiving core plus an old and hobbled Santonio Holmes. A top 10 overall defense coupled with rookie Geno's high deep ball completion rate allowed us to churn out wins despite turnover troubles. Both Decker and Marshall have similar deep ball tracking ability to Holmes.. Geno will likely be better next year too, which will help offset some the defensive firepower we've lost over the past few years. All in all, 8-8 is definitely achievable next year.

Marshall, healthy decker(decker with marshall takes the pressure and coverage off him and puts the number two corner on him) Amaro with some experience and a full offseason plus a possible spread offense with gailey(hopefully they play Amaro over Cumberland this season). Two years of experience under his belt. Geno was labeled a project qb, a 2-3 year project. Coming out of the draft he wasn't a start now guy. People are way to quick on giving up on young players. Geno has the talent. I'm not saying he will have a break through but he won't if he's not given the chance to. My prediction is that he will be an average qb this season and help the jets make the playoffs this season. With this defense the offense won't need to put up a shit load of points. Just need to sustain drives and not turn the ball over. I know that's genos weakness but I think this is his year to turn the corner and establish his worth as a starting NFL qb
