All this Michael Crabtree garbage in the news has me thinking about another holdout situation. It happened twenty-two years ago, when the tenth overall selection in the NFL draft was unsigned and therefore a holdout on the first day of camp. This was not good. After negotiations came to a major stalemate, the players lawyer, Eugene Parker, told reporters "It could be very much longer before a contract agreement is reached." http://www.2010-super-bowl.com/home.html Crabtree could stand to learn about what long hold outs are like and the shallowness of the statements like his cuz is making...
No doubt Woodson was a terrific player, but as a person I think he's a Jerk. I met him in a restaurant in Pittsburgh a number of years ago and was a complete stuck-up ass. Also, watching NFL Network....I've never heard a more negative TV Talking head, especially when commenting on the Jets.
