Good response from Rex. Enegry and attitude can be displayed with getting a 15 yarder against us. See LT all night for that. Edwards was great last ngiht, but needs to step away and not be a dick right in thier face, it could have killed us.

Glad he lost a game ball over it. That was friggin stupid. Although I admit I didn't care at the moment because I was just stoked we did ANYTHING on offense there's no excuse for that, especially (almost) twice.

Taunting is one of the silliest rules ever. You can talk shit all week prior to the game. You can talk shit before the snap. But oh my talk shit after the play and watch out. Taunting is going to a game or watching it on tv and be interrupted by a hundred commercials.

Makes me like Rex a bit more. Braylon Edwards actions were pretty disgusting in that game. He had a great game and all but he ruined it by being a total douche bag, doing his little dance and taunt, etc right in someones face..

Totally disgusting, glad he lost a game ball for it.

3 penalties in 2 games on Edwards. He's playing well, but he needs to cut that out.

I agree... when was it made? I believe during the Roger Goodell era of sissy football... if you score a TD over someone you have the right, nay, the MORAL OBLIGATION to celebrate in his face!

A rule is a rule so Edwards was stupid in breaking it but again... FUCK GOODELL, he's turning a game into a friggin' business.

Things we've learned about the Rex Ryan regime:

Tolerated: shit talking, god damn snacks

Not tolerated: choreographed shit talking, field/sideline god damn snacks.

Why does Braylon always need a stigma attached to him?

Can he just be normal for one year?

I wasn't happy either. Dude behind me was like...I"ll take that trade any time (meaning he'll take Braylon taunting if it means a TD) From where I'm sitting...that shit can and will cost you a ball game. Not even a doubt about that. Whether you don't like the rule or not....That's the rule so cut that stuff out

Of course Clowney of all players had to be there next to Edwards , wonder if there was a "Dougie" tweet, from either of them.

I liked it.. To be honest, I'm surprised Rex is frowning so much on this issue. Yes, it can't continue, but that offense needed a spark. They needed to show some emotion, and they all needed to feed off of some energy generated by good play by someone on this offense.

I felt that this was something that needed to happen, after last week against the Ravens, yeah, It was justified in my eyes. They got the monkey off their backs, they lashed out, now let's watch them hopefully continue to play some solid football.

The taunting rule is there to prevent fights. This isn't the NHL. I think I would have landed a hay maker on Edwards if he got in my face like that.

But, I'm old school. Play hard, play fair, bust people up within the rules, kick his ass, but have respect for your opponent. I can say this for sure... if I was that DB, Edwards would have had his head detatched, if not that game, in the next one. I'd be head hunting... and there is why they have a taunting rule. To keep the players focused on the game, not retaliation.

Edwards is a punk. He's a talented punk.

Disgusting? Were you even alive before the Gastineau rule was instituted? What Edward did was almost comical. Far from serious taunting. You want to see real taunting go back to the 70s and 80s.

I like it. It showed emotion but mostly because i thought it got into butler's head. he got torched from there on out. worth the 15 yards

Next time you make a touchdown, act like you've been there before.
