    Schotty Replacements

Who do you think the Jets will be looking at this offseason?

    Long shots
    Brad Childress
    Brain Billick
    Norv Turner

    More Realistic

Bryan Harsin- OC at Texas now, former OC at Boise St.
Joe Lombardi= QB Coach for the Saints
Tom Clements- QB Coach for the Packers, interview for Penn State gig
Callahan- I know people might not look at him after our OL's awful year but it's mostly due to Hunter

hes not going anywhere they just signed him to a 3 year extension, sad as that is. Why they did that I have no idea. Looks like alot of the decision making by idiot tanny has been horrible. Who to let go and who to let stay.

Honestly I'd rather have Callahan or see if Tom Moore would do it for one season while grooming a replacement than bring in someone new who doesn't know our personnel.

But to be fair, our offense suffered by our oline and not having Braylon.

The fact that they did is secretly is a telling sign that the fans don't agree with it...

Just because he's signed to an extention doesn't mean he will be here to finish out the contract.

Tanny is part blame for keeping his circle (jerk) of friends around.

Coaches can be fired at any time. Contracts really don't mean much. Dopey needs to go.

I would give Callahan a chance. Those raider offenses when he was there were pretty good. Hes coached in a super bowl and he also made Rich Gannon who was a middle of the road qb for most of his career into an all pro. I think he knows the guys on this team and would know how to use them better than anyone we bring in because they would need sone time to learn what type of personnel we have here.

    Bill Calahan all the way

When he was the Raiders coach, they had a monster OL, just massive, I think the bigest OL in the league at that time, oh and they were awesome. The Jets played them at that time and the size diffrence on their OL and the Jets DL stood way out. Like Nfl size versus high schoolers.

Needlest to say Gannon revived his career there. Had all day to throw. Running backs had huge holes but had avaerage RBs. Big time plays downfield, every time.

Yeah I believe Callahan is our man, plus he already knows the book, so not much of a change in the playcalling except he will gameplan and change up the playcalling. He will give what an opponent gives up, and will exploit however small weaknesses in an opponents D. He did this very well by the way.

Would take Norv Turner in a heartbeat. Unfortunately, idk if he would want to be under Rex after the words they exchanged this season.

  14. Bill Callahan makes alot of sense. I think he could do alot with the Jets personnel.

Sanchez is mediocre. Our line is awful other than Mangold. Greene has picked it up after struggling but hasn't shown that he is all that dependable. Our wrs are far less than stellar.

Schotty is the least of our problems.

WTF? If true, then Tanny and Rex should be fired and Woody forced to sell the team, because he's obviously as stupid as Leon Hess was, and the team will never win squat. As a matter of fact, while they're at it, they should just go ahead and fold this joke of a franchise. It's mind boggling how they keep making the same kind of idiotic decisions year after year, regardless of who the GM or HC is. This franchise is cursed.

Keeping it in house is a good idea i guess. Change should be made. Should have been made today. Shotty should have gotten fired as a Christmas present.

I'd like to see them bring in Jim Fassel.
