Totally awesome. http://www.nfl.com/videos/nfl-game-highlights/09000d5d814b18cb/WK-13-Darrelle-Revis-highlights
What I love most is the fact that opposing QBs are having to target Revis - because otherwise they are simply removing their best receiver from the offense - yet still Revis dominates. I haven't seen a season like this from a Jets cornerback before. And what the hell was that wimpy attempt at kicking that TO tried after the first big pass break-up? He grabbed Revis' head when they were falling to the ground, then sort of flailed his legs around trying to kick him. It looked like something a three-year-old would do. TO looked like a pussy on that play. He was completely and absolutely dominated by Revis all game and the best he could come up with was that?
Right now he reminds me of a young Rod Woodson. He is a rarity, a physical, cover corner. He could easily flip to safety in 7 years and be a Woodson/Reed/Dawkins type.He can hit and tackle. We have never had a defensive player of his type in the history of our franchise.
He is amazing. when you watch the game, you realize he is having a great one, but when you see them all strung together like that, you just say, WOW!
Best CB to ever play for the Jets. I would have said Aaron Glenn years ago, but Revis is much better, and more physical.
Revis just destroys the will of opposing WRs. Witness TO, Steve Smith, Andre Johnson, just to name a few. The only WR up for the challenge is Randy Moss. Those match-ups will be fun to watch for years to come.
Nah Moss is getting old and Revis already owns him other then 1 good catch all season.\ I can't wait to see him against Wayne and Manning.
Hah, that's one of the reasons I really wanted the Jets to draft McCoy this past draft. Not only was he very talented, but we'd had success with Pitt RBs before..
