    it's a no brainer IMHO

if the JETS win a championship and Favre is the Supe MVP.

nice way to reward him for ending 40 years of futilty.

There are a ton of former Jets that would get their #'s retired before Farve. Plus how do we retire the Numer of a player who will be inducted into the hall as a Packer?

Good thought process I will say!

How can someone fathom this yet?

I'm too supersticious to think this way.

Jeez, about a month ago, we were all talking about how much this team sucks and how everybody should be fired, and now we're talking about superbowls and retiring their numbers?

There is nothing any player could do to justify retiring their number after a single season - Super Bowl or not - forget about it. If he wins 3 of 'em in a row for us let's talk.

I know and watching Sportscenter everyday this week is just as bad. Its hard enough to change my usual mentality regarding the upcoming games, let alone even think about a super bowl appearance.
