http://www.nytimes.com/2007/09/05/sports/football/05stadium.html?ref=sports Not sure what to make of it all. I think I'm impressed...
That's it! After all this time and it looks no better than something I could make on Madden. But the outside looks awesome.
not too impressed looks almost the same to me. I wanna know how much their gonna make me pay for the PSL's is the real question.
It looks like a stack of blank cds on the outside. At least it looks like a stadium, something the new Texas Stadium won't.
looks like what we have now. im not impressed by the interior. 2nd on the open side to see the skyline. shea/citi field are guilty of this too. there is no good reason the open end couldent be oriented towards manhattan
Wow that thing is gigantic. Reminds me of the Skins FedEx Field. Of all the new stadiums in the league, Heinz Field is my favorite so ideally I'd want our new place to look like that, but I understand it isn't possible since we need to have a huge capacity, so kiss quaintness goodbye. Still, many Steeler fans say the sterile Three Rivers Stadium was much more vibrant and loud on gamedays, so perhaps that's not what we want after all Overall, I'm pleased, should be a cauldron of noise.
All baseball stadiums have to face the same direction due to the sun. It is a rule. Shea and Citi face the direction they do for a real reason.
Just outside the stadium is the location for a railway station ? which connects the Meadowlands to the Pascack Valley Line of New Jersey Transit ? that is expected to be completed in 2009. The addition of the rail station is similar to the plan to bring a Metro-North stop to the new Yankee Stadium.
Looks like a tin can on the outside and the seats look father away from the field then the current place. If the Giants are involved then you know its not going to be top of the line those cheap bastards
Not in the diagrams I've seen. They don't need a whole end open, just a corner like you see in NE, Pittsburgh and Philly. Enough to allow a view of the skyline from inside the stadium. It's right there, why not incorporate it? Especially since they keep the NY name and the networks show it the whole time anyway.
