We anticipated the Jets/Colts game all day and we wind up winning a nail-biter at the end of regulation because of a Folk FG. Kick-ass win, and my dad especially enjoyed it because it is his birthday today. My my, today's version of last year, drastically different. Happy Birthday though to my dad  . What were you do going a year ago today before the game. BTW.. Go Falcons.
Picked up some Chinese from one of the best Szechuan restaurants in NYC and drove to PA to watch the game at my cousin's. BTW, Go Giants ! Always root for the NY team.....
Really? This whole time I was convinced the game fell on my dad's birthday? It appears my memory has fallen off since than  .. oh well.
That was a tense game. I remember that absolutely sickening feeling when Peyton was driving down the field. Then Blair White dropped the 3rd down pass. Then Vinateri kicked the FG, I was sick to my stomach. I was litteraly shaking for the rest of the game. Then when we kicked the FG I remember screaming at my brother whos a Patriots fans saying your finished, your fates sealed, the Jets are coming for revenge.
To painfull to reflect back a year ago, cause it reminds me that my team use to be good and played with heart!
I got so drunk leading up to and during the game, that when I woke up the next morning I had to check the score to see if we won. It was great I got to enjoy the win twice. Ahhhhh memories.
I remember bailing on my gf early so I could catch the game with my dad. The game was so tense. My body was burning up during the game due to anxiety.
I remember calling my 'cuz who's a huge colts fan and razing her HUGE. And that was BEFORE kickoff. She hasn't talked to me since...Baahaahaa
I think they blitzed three or four times that whole game. RR completely switched it up, ran a ton of zone/Cover 2. The DL did their job and there were few open WRs for Manning on that day. I was really impressed with RR deviating away from his bread n butter to win that game. That's what the NFL is about: adaptation.
Only games I made last year were Detroit and the Colts playoffs. The year before, opening day Ravens and the Colts playoffs. Last Year's playoff was soo sweet and nerve racking to the end. I was really hoping for an Indy Superbowl as I could probably make that one. There's always next year.
