We are getting FUCKED by the refs. We aren't playing well, but illegal block on the kicking team and two phantom roughing the passer penalties have given them 14 points and taken 2 points away from us.

I cannot f-in believe this. Are the refs named 'Fred Leftwich' and 'Joey Leftwich'? Its bad enough we suck today, but we're not allowed to get sacks!??!!?!?

    This is such crap...

I dont wanna hear about this ''Leftwich is a tough SOB'', hes a f-ing pansy who dives for calls and whines and then acts like a big shot when he comes from the sidelines to get back into a game.

That Barton call has to be the worst call I have ever seen in my multi years of watching football games.

I sadly can't see us putting up 28 points and also stopping the jags from scoring again.

On to Miami, we better be 5-3 at the bye.

    3 horrible calls:
    1. Vilma's "roughing the passer"
    2. Barton's "roughing the passer"
    3. illegal block in the back on the punt... i saw one on the Jags, but not the jets

the Vilma play, probably would of held them to a FG, but got a first (4 extra points)

the Barton play, lost us 2 points (6 total now)

punt, gave them an easy TD (7 points)

13 points because of the refs

the score should be around 15-2

What can you do I guess? Calls favor the home team, plain and simple......

Lets get ready for the Phins and lets get to .300 again.

Apparently, you're not allowed to tackle anyone anymore.

You're blaming the refs when the score is 38-ZIP? The way the Jets are playing today, if the refs handed them a couple of freebies, they wouldn't know what to do with them.

I understand what your saying. But when a team finally makes a big play and you call a bogus roughing the passer 2 times, it kinda takes the wind out of their sails. This Jets team has made some very nice comebacks in the 3rd and 4th quarters of games this year. But they don't stand a chance when they are getting beaten up by the Jags, and the refs...

I think these officials should be looked at really close by the league. I understand they must protect the QB, but isn't he a freaking football player too? They are making the QB's untouchable for the most part. Might as well be 2 hand touch on the quarterback?

I disagree. That was one of the worst called games in the history of the NFL. Just because it was a blowout, that truth shouldn't be denied.

Plus a possession, which of course could lead to 3 or 7 points, bringing the total up to a hypothetical 18 or 22 from the 15...

Apparently you have to gently lower the QB to the ground, then kiss him on the forehead and whisper sweet nothings in his ear, or else it's roughing the passer.

    FUCK YOU REFS!

I was just thinking about this, but have't they called roughing the passer on players this year after they have gotten a sack via wrapping up a quarterback's legs?
They also call it if you hit them high, which pretty much always counts as a helmet-to-helmet hit.
You can't hit them in the chest, because if your face is already into his body and he throws the ball, which you have no possible way of knowing, it is roughing.
And, apparently now, you cant hit them in the shoulders either, because that naturally causes the head to snap back.

So pretty much, you can't hit the quarterback at all.....
They might as well just do away with sacks, or make the QB's wear red jersey's durign games too
