3 first rounders and a second rounder. Looks like RG3 is theirs.

Great job by the Rams to get max value for that pick. Cleveland left with Matt Flynn maybe ??

And the redskins did not have 2 first rounds pick this season. So the Skins won't have a 1st round pick for a while now.

I knew the Redskins would trade for that 2 spot, Cleveland didnt want to go after that spot. Its worth the risk IMO.

So the franchise tender on Drew Brees is 2 first round picks, right? But you give up 3 plus for a college kid? What a dumb ass decision.

The Washington Redskins trade with the St. Louis Rams. Very Jets related news...

Washington was smart, waited to be sure they were out of the Manning race then pulled the trigger.

Nuts. I love RG3, but the #6 pick, the #39 pick, and two first rounders for #2??? What a trade by the Rams. Feels like same old Redskins. Maybe, MAYBE you consider doing this for Luck but for the riskier RG3? Stunning. 2 firsts and the 2nd should've been more than enough value-wise.

In some ways this does affect the Jets, that means RG3 will be in D.C.....so what do the Rams do with all these picks?

The claim by the skins will be that they dont have to pay RG3 as much as Brees would have made on a contract.....granted I know exactly what you mean...a kid that has proven nothing or Brees

With this type of trade the Colts probably might've been better off keeping Manning and then trading the No. 1 overall.

And what does Manning speculation threads have to do with the NYJETS?

The Manning threads did have a poll with the Jets as an option, or an initial statement asking if the Jets should try to get him. There was no initial post here linking this trade to the Jets.

What happens here is that the redskins won't reach for a QB in the draft whichs means there is not an additional player that will be bumped down to the 16 spot. It also cancels out a possibility of the Jets trading into the number 2 which was a rumor at best. But none of this was said in the OP so I was wondering how it was Jets related.

All the Manning threads? So anything Manning was NYJETS related? Weak argument.

Something else - if the Skins start RG3, it's likely they wouldn't be a playoff team (like the Panthers with Newton, despite how good he was). Next year's first could easily be top 10 again.

Well the first Manning thread I see has Jets in the thread title and orignal post (jets out of running). The next thread is why would peyton choose the jets. Which as you see, jets in the thread title and op. Then the next manning thread was sanchez would win more game than whereever manning goes. Well Sanchez is jets qb so jets related. Should I go on?
