    And to think, some people wanted to trade Abe straight up for him. If only the threads from the old board didn't disappear, we'd have some good quotes right about now.

    Uhhh...I think we need one. He would be a great addition. I don't know how much cap room we have though. Either way...I would love Lavar to be a Jet...Let him play outside in a 3-4...could be our LT.

    Redskins | Team confirms Arrington release

    Gary Fitzgerald, of Redskins.com, reports Washington Redskins LB LaVar Arrington has reached an agreement with the team, with the assistance of his agents Carl and Kevin Poston, to become a free agent and provide the Redskins with much-needed salary cap relief.

    A great talent, but he freelances too much. I'd like to see him on the Fins, but he'll come at a price worth more than he's worth - and I don't think Saban would put up with an on the field undisciplined athlete.

    Arrington is sickeningly underrated. He's one of those guys who you have to convince to play or he'll bitch and whine all season, but it doesn't change the fact that he's among the league's most talented players.

    Arrington be a great pickup, he'd replace some of the pass rush we lost with Abe, and I think he can play in the 3-4.
