I am very happy with the way the Jets are playing as a whole. Even in todays loss, we sported 14 pts and were still in most of the game. I can't help but wonder, how good the team would have played today if we had Calvin Pace. What do you think?
A lot of what I am basing the question off of is that we gave up a lot of yards at times and continually had poor starting field position. If Sanchez was starting from the 30-40 every drive instead of backed up inside the 20 I think it makes a huge difference. He did play poorly especially towards the end of the game, however I was more critical of the 3&1 and 3&2 playcalling all game.
I know this is not my place and I am out of here, but I just remember a phrase from Jim Mora when he was here as the Saint's coach. "Could of, would of, should of. I don't want to hear it!" The Jets have a great team. I have never seen Brees so controlled by a defense. The past is the past. Look ahead. The future is bright. Good luck in your future games. As I said, I am out of here. Au revoir!
Yes, Pace would have played both sides of the field. In fact, he'd be playing QB, WR and RB at the same time. 3 Pace's on the field at once and no team could stop him. Did you need to start this thread? Really? A title such as "Do we win this game with Kellen Clemmens?" would have been more realistic....
Well, the offense scored 10 points, and the offense gave up 14 points, so unless you're saying that Calvin Pace takes away 10 points allowed from our defense and adds a defensive touchdown...keep thinking that....
Man the Jets lost because of the offense. So if the Jets had a young Al Toon, a 25 y/o Curtis Martin and a decent Right Tackle then yes they would have won tonight.
If pace would have gotten the O-line to play better than sure. But realisticly both Sanchez and the o-line were awful today.
I know he's injured and you guys might have brought it up but where are we if we don't deal Pennington?
