Of course, this is crazy season but I saw a post where the Jets trade the # 4 and # 10 to the Eagles for their 3 first round picks #15, 16, and 19. It's interesting but I say no. The Jets need talented players not more roster fillers.

trade seems a bit light …maybe 15 and 16 to move up to 10 but to get 4, def have to add more. I could only see the Jets trade 10 though.

I would 100% look to trade back if the value is right. Especially if they can get a 2023 1st round pick like the Giants did last year.

Yup. The Eagles are one pick short in that trade for it to be fair. It’s basically any combination of their two first rounders for #4 and then we’re basically giving away a trade up from 19 to 10 for free.

I don’t think the Eagles really need to trade up for any particular player in this draft. They have at least another year to figure out what Hurts is and there’s no top end at QB to do so. They’re also relatively set at the tackle spots. They could use edge rushers and another receiver but the draft is deep at both spots for them to grab one from 15-19.

I get where you are going. However, would you accept any two of their first rounders for #4?

If you do, fair enough but that then means that our second pick and their third is equal which it isnt.

Maybe I would say #4 and our two second rounders for their 3 first rounders but then again, I'm looking for stuff next year too.

    Is this really bold tho?

Bold would be live streaming your draft war room
and having all the cameras on you
with no shirt and nipple clamps... now THAT's BOLD.

Definitely too light on the compensation but mid 1st round picks are "roster fillers" now? Nope, can't get any talented players at 15, 16 and 19, impossible.

Yeah the compensation doesn’t add up, but I have no problem with falling back while getting some more ammo but still being in reach to address some needs. I really want to get one of the top TEs, that room has been bad for way too long. And if there is anyway possible to walk away with Sauce Gardner CB from Cincy, I think that kid is gonna be a star and fun to watch. I know CB isn’t a pressing need. But if we do make a trade and he’s sitting in our lap between mid/late first round I would snag him and have him and Hall on the other side we could shut down explosive WRs with a really nice CB tandem. While addressing Safety in FA and really transform our backend in one offseason.

I think you wait on trading #4 unless somebody blows you away with an offer. It's 50/50 one of Hutchinson or Thibodeaux is sitting there on the pick.

The #10 on the other hand is prime trade material.

There is 0 chance the top CB drops to the teens. We’d be lucky if he was there at 10

Agreed. Let's see who is there at 4. If KT drops, just run to the podium. If not, then trade may be a possibility. Though frankly I don't see who would want to give up so much capital to get to #4. QBs are rather weak in this class. At #10 the price may not be as steep, top QB would still be there if someone wants to trade for one and Jets can get a similar talent if they trade down up to 10 spots. At 10 something might materialize, but I see us keeping #4.

Tbh he’s not consensus top CB for everyone, we don’t know how the draft will play out that’s why it’s such a great time. We have seen teams like other players for whatever reason over who we thought would go before them. That’s why I said if he does, I would be all over it like white on rice. I’m excited for this draft and I think this is the draft that makes or breaks us for the next decade.

I say keep the #4 - draft KT. Trade the #10 for one of #15 and #16 plus the #19. With those two the Jets should be able to get the big WR they want plus OL. And they still have both their second rounders for TE and whatever other position they want.
