I was sitting at halftime bored and I randomly thought I wanted to rank the Jets by best to worst. I didn't do everyone but you can make your own list. Here's how I ranked...

    A - Pro Bowl Type
    B - Very Solid Player
C - Could Upgrade, Still Solid Starter

I have no D's or F's because I feel our team is solid all around.

    Revis A
    Mangold A
    Harris A
    Jenkins (healthy) A
    Jones A
    Pace A
    Leon A
    Leonhard B
    Brick B
    Scott B
    Edwards B
    Ellis B
    Cotch B
    Faneca C
    Moore C
    E. Smith C
    Rhodes (motivation) C
    Keller (blocking/drops) C
    Thomas C
    Douglas C
    Sheppard C
    Woody C
    Sanchez (will get better) C

I would evaluate more but the game's back on... Fire away

    just skimming through your list.

I would bump D'Brick to an A, he has quietly become one of the best LT in the game.

Promote Sheppard to a B, he is a solid starter/#2 CB

Other than that, fair rankings overall

Give Revis his own rating, he shouldn't have the same as others.

That was the easiest rank. I automatically put him first :breakdance:

You're probably right. Brick does real well but all the hate he has gotten on this board thru the few years must have really gotten in my head. I'm not sure Sheppard should be a B because I've seen him get beat a few times and people are saying we likely won't keep him...that's gotta be for a reason. However you're right he does have his B games.

I think the reason we won't keep him is because of his contract, not because of his lack of skill. I wouldn't be surprised to see a cut-and-sign type thing with Sheppard at a more reasonable contract.

I hope you're right. That sounds realistic.

I'd bump Scott up to an A and Pace down to a B.

A big part of my Scott grade was all his penalties (ok it's not that many but still) and I've seen him miss tackles more than other LB's. Pace leads the team in sacks with 4 less games played. I can see your B arguement though.
