And this steaming pile of garbage comes from the one and only Peter Scharger...(who?!) http://msn.foxsports.com/nfl/story/...luck-robert-griffin-III-ryan-tannehill-041912 NYJ Highlights: #16 - Jonathan Martin #47 - Kendall Reyes #77 - Marvin Jones from Cal, not the former Jet...
Don't like the Martin pick, he's not physical enough for Tony's offense. Kendall Reyes, while not a huge need, would be a steal at #47. Reyes is a boderline 1st Rd pick. One of my favorite prospects. Marvin Jones is a rising talent and solid receiver. I'd have no issue drafting Jones in rd 3. I should have added him to one of my favorite prospects.
He seems to overvalue a couple of tackles (Martin at 16, Adams at 10), but other than that it's not bad. Reyes and Jones wouldn't be bad picks in rounds 2 and 3.
WW, Speaking of Univ. Cal prospects, aside from Jones, you think there's any chance they have a shot at Brian Anger in the 6th?
I wish our Jets could get the real Marvin Jones back in his prime. He was a beast MLB and its a shame he never got to play for Rex I think that woulda been an awesome combination.
rounds 2 and 3 look OK. its the first rounder that is a head scratcher. if thats who the jets have on their board at 16 they need to beg to get out of that spot.
Maybe, he could go in the 5th. Let's see how many picks we use if we trade up. If we keep our 10 picks I have no problem drafting Anger
Peter King likes to play an imaginary game of chess with himself to see how far he can push the bounds of bias without being too obvious about it. He's basically trying to beat the sleeping "enemy fan" off with a cheese grater without waking him up.
