it is a solid pick and shows that this fo is going to do what is BEST FOR THE TEAM not what the fans think is best for the team. they are not going to bring people in just for their names, they are not going to put a buttload of money into a guy they do not feel will help.
Im with ya on this one. Leinart will not be the QB people think he is, and Brickshaw will be the foundation for years to come.
A Project O-Lineman is best for the team??? NO! You can get Lineman later in the Draft (Proven) and via FA (Proven) not w/ the 4th Pick. He is No Ogden OR Roaf. He is a PROJECT!!!
There is no pick that makes everyone happy. This is a good pick however. We have to many holes to fill than trading everything to get reggie bush.
i now see this fo having a real good plan to create a solid FOOTBALL TEAM, they seem to know where you build a team and i am really looking forward to what they do in the rest of this draft, i really think they are going to make us a solid team. i would not be at all surprised if they went ol with the 29 at this point.
because a complete IDIOT has no clue what he's talking about thinks he's a project...probably because he's not a media hyped up darling, most fans can't deal with reality
-Slow Feet -a Pass Blocker (Not a Roadgrader for the running game) -Will be going against elite DE's not Acorn St. He is a Project where as the guys Like Ogden were not.
Royal Tee, I've been here a long time... check my profile, and after your post from the past two days, you are one of the worst most uninformed posters on this board. Sorry, I had to say it... its true. Even those who don't like Brick as much as others would agree... he is no "project".
I know you GB! It's all good to disagree and thank you for showing class while you do. Some of these guys have no way to express themselves without the namecalling. I gave my reasons why I think he's a project.
I LOVE TANGINI. These guys are sticking to their word, their not getting intimidated by New York's ridiculous media. They did the smart thing. We now have two athletic, young tackles which, if remaining healthy, removes one constant NFL team consideration off the table: getting good tackles. Royal Tee, for you to say the D-Brick has slow feet shows how very little you know. While some feel he doesn't have the bulk yet to be a dominate run blocker, EVERYONE agrees he has very fast feet which is why he's an amazing pass blocker. WE STILL HAVE 7 PICKS IN THE FIRST 4 ROUNDS! WE'RE FILLING HOLES, GUYS!
LOL at Slow Feet, he is a black belt in karate and ALL NFL Scouts and decent reliable independent scouts agree he has INCREDIBLE footwork. Not good, INCREDIBLE. "A tremendous athlete for the position...Feet are second to none and he is like a dancing bear...Extremely quick and agile...Balance is outstanding."
yeah who has ever said he has slow feet? if that were the case he never would've made Kiwanuka look pathetic...
so royal tree when you were at the combines watching him in his drills is that when you noticed his slow feet or his personal work outs
I shouldn't have said Slow feet. I should have said Weak Lower body which is why he isn't a Roadgrader! -My Bad but he is still a Project! He has Balance but is NOT a Complete LT. Which is why he is a Project!!!! By you guys saying he is no project means that he will Start opening day and Begin Shutting down Elite DE's in the NFL!!! You guys are NUTZ!
