Assuming that Mangini doesn't name a starter by Friday, what will the QB rotation be like? Normally, the first team only plays 1 or 2 drives in the first game. Will Mangini treat the QB's different, and give them each a quarter or something?
It'd be stupid if after all this talk about Chad not being named the "official" starter if Mangini treats him like a starter and only has him out there for 1 or 2 series. But you never really know. I'd say Chad goes about 4, then Ramsey getting about the same, and Bollinger and Clemens get the lion's share and split the rest of the game about evenly. That would make the most sense given Mangini's statements, but its a guessing game at this point obviously.
Just a guess here that Chad and Ramsey each get 2 drives then Brooks/Clemens split the rest of the game.
I see no reason to play Brooks Bollinger. High School games do not start for another month and a half
The only reason brooks is still on the team is because the front office thinks they can get something for him. I would be suprised to see him get some playing time. Its just a audition to be a 3rd stringer or maybe a back up on another time.
Chad will probably play two series and then Ramsey plays the rest of the first half. Clemens and Bollinger share the 2nd half.
I agree. Even if he's not the starter yet it makes the most sense to play Pennington with the first team because it will get him off the field quickly.
And Chad and Ramsey will have scored enough so that the other two can just take it easy right RobA? Just joking bro
I say Chad goes in for 2 series. (no use in having Simeon Rice end the comeback story) Ramsey to finish the first half. Kellen in 3rd qtr Bolly in 4th.
