I think this really just come downs to who makes the team between Smith and Reuland cause he is more polished and has a little more flexibility over Smith who probably has more talent but is also more raw.
The good thing is there 2 deep here & will find there 3rd TE. Jets solid here & can compete....Thank goodness.
Cumberland is a decent player, I think with consistency from the QB spot he could be sneaky good. Cumberland lost weight this offseason, focused on route running. And Winslow is obviously a player just a major health concern. He had 70+ grabs in 2011, his only issue is the knee problems. If he can stay healthy this could be a a nice tandem.
True... But I thought I saw Mulligan suited up on the Packers....or some other contending team. I was shocked !!!
i have zero faith in winslow being healthy. however i also felt the same about the steroid freak at safety last year.... and i was wrong. cumberland is a good player, he is surely the number 1 in my eyes. i dont know too much about the rest of these guys other than shanahan, does anyone have any thoughts on those guys?
We bring 3 TEs to camp absolutely - Kellen stays healthy, we'll def have him lined up at WR on some plays. I really hope he stays healthy - him and Kerley are very reliable targets that catch the football. Same with Cumberland. The upside certaintly is there to do damage down the seams and in the RZ.
