Also released by the Chiefs was safety Bernard Pollard. The team reportedly explored trade options for Pollard ? best known for ending Patriots QB Tom Brady?s season on a tackle in Week 1 last year ? but the fourth-year pro ended up a roster casualty as the Chiefs narrowed their roster to the league-mandated 53-player limit.

Should we pick him up just for the novelty of it?

We should get this guy in the division, have him play Brady twice a year.

Roy Williams part 2. Great tackler, terrible in coverage.

I was there the day his helmet went into Brady's knee. He was pretty much blocked into him by Sammy Morris (it should have been Faulk in there, who is much better at pass protection but he just had to blaze up at a fucking Lil Wayne concert during the off-season). He sounded genuinely sorry about it afterwards and came across as a very nice guy...

It would have been awesome if one day in the parking lot Matt Cassel clipped him in a freak accident and ended his career.
