Look what ended up on my fridge yesterday (Playoff Invoices) Received my playoff invoice in the mail yesterday. All the cash must be in before the 15th of December; sorry kids no playstation 3 under the tree this year. Although I doubt we will get a home game I never fail to send the cash in anyway, I remember a few years back a bunch of people getting screwed....
Noone got screwed, persay. They just gave me the chance to go and wait online in the cold for the playoff tickets  It was great, talking to everyone online who had season tix and didn't send in the cash after the bears game.
In 2002, I go to go because of a TON of people not claiming their tickets. I got them at the Wiz, back when it existed. I don't see the Jets winning the division, but heck, if you are a season ticket holder, you are just giving them a 6 month free loan.. they aren't keeping the $.
Or you can just check the box that asks to return the money if not used, rather than put it towards next years tix. Although the interest may not be much, I refuse to give Woody anymore of my hard earned cash than I have to...
The guy next to me in Section 227 got screwed that year. He played the waiting game and lost. Boy, was he pissed.
I was one of those people sort of..... I did not send my money in because winning the division looked as was improbable until we know what happened. The Monday after the game I sent my Money in, and called the Jets to let them know. They basically told me I was screwed. I had to go on business to Chicago and bought playoff tickets through a broker. When I returned home the day before the Playoff game against the Colts, I had two Fedex pacakages waiting for me, 4 Tickets from the Broker and my Three Season Tickets, although they were not my original seats, but were actually better.
did other season ticket holders get their invoice yet?the money is due friday dec 15th. usual price is $70 per seat wild card round(if we win divison) $100 per seat championship game $150 per seat
Let me guess, you don't come around these parts too often??? http://forums.theganggreen.com/showthread.php?t=15347  Just busting you, send that big old check in right before the holidays...
i'm pretty confident about a win...but wanna see what else happens isn't the only possibility of a home game if they win the division? Wild cards are on the road everytime....unless they both get to the AFC championship game right? not being sarcastic...really asking... because if the Pats win this weekend....i think there's going to be like a 1% chance of a home game (that's not a scientific calc by any means)... ordinarily i would just send it in....but a new house, baby, and the holidays....things are tiiiggghhhttt
I hear you and I think the possibility of us playing anything at home is slim. It's always a tough time of year to have to send in money like this... basically dead money unless it comes to fruition. I'm not sure what the scenario would have to be in order for us to have a home playoff game. But the way this team looks now, getting pretty hot at the right time... few injuries... good schedule, etc., etc., I just figured let me get it in and see what happens.
Simple scenario to give us a home game: we win out and the pats lose any 2 of their last 4 games. Not so bad to wait until this week's games are over, but if we win and the fins happen to beat the pats THEN SEND IT IN RIGHT AWAY! But, then again, the fins would probably never help us out like that
Don't be too sure. They've been spoilers in the past and, well, quite frankly, the Pats don't even resemble the team they fielded in September.
