I like BT but we gave him ALOT of money for having one decent season. A player should be taking over games for that kind of money. I agree though, Vilma and Rhodes have to be re-signed this year.

Exactly...we all know the value of TJ's and BT's contracts work out to about 5 million per year when bonus is taken into account. It's kind of funny that they have Kendall making 5.2 million without bonuses this year...just goes to show that these numbers mean dick!

thats alot of coin tied up in the defensive front 7 - specifically ellis, drob, kimo, and thomas.... i would venture to say that ellis, drob and kimo will have to rework their deals or they will not make it to 2008. kimo likley doesn't make it regardless. jil
Kendall made 5.2M last yr, not this yr. Also,t his is just base salaries.... it's a meaningless list.
*sigh* at least read the postings before hitting the reply button. we're not talking about base salary here. kendall made 5.2 million last year. his base salary was 1.3 million and he received a 3.9 million signing bonus because we re-worked his contract. 1.3 million + 3.9 million = 5.2 million...

why resign vilma? he has 2 yrs left on his contract as a real cheap lb. I'd like to see him prove he's worth a big contract 1st. let him play 07 at his present salary & make a decision after the season.
For what Vilma is going to demand I am just not sure if he is worth paying. If he doesn;t fit perfectly into the system after this season, then I am really not sure that it's worth it.
