    Forget about worrying if the Jets will beat out the Steelers for the #2 slot. I do not even think that the Steelers are going to make the playoffs. Look at their schedule:

    Steelers Record, 8-3, Conf,7-1
    @Pats
    Cowboys
    @Ravens
    @Titans
    Browns

    Pats will find a way to neutralize their defense and get to Ben

    Cowboys will have too much on offense and Pitt O will not keep up

    Ravens should have won the first game, and will squeak by in a 13-9 type of game

    Titans will need to win to sustain home field throughout and will do it

    Pitt will crush the browns.

    Pittsburgh finishes 9-7 a game behind the Ravens and misses the playoffs completely. I really believe Pittsburgh is poised for a huge collapse and a fade just like they did last year, only this year they will collapse completely out of the playoffs.

    Miss the Playoffs? Hmm, kinda tough but Fall? Yeah, I can see that.
    Pitt is Overrated and so is their QB RothisFaggot and his epic fails.
    They make him out to be this great QB when actually he chokes in the playoffs and has only won because of their D and running game.

    Would you rather have Pitt or NE in the playoffs?

    With Willie Parker being hurt again, I don't think they have much of a running game. :steelers:

    If we go and they don't, it'll be a happy day in this house with the couch ass being a Steeler fan. Sucks to be him like it has been to be me all these years. Paybacks are a bitch. :lol:

    Defense gets you into the playoffs and Pittsburgh has the NFL's best right now. They have the lowest rushing yards, passing yards, total defense and most sacks. So that can carry the team a long way. Also Roethlisberger has the talent to dominate a game (even if he hasn't shown a lot of it lately). So I wouldn't count the Steelers out just yet.

    I wouldn't be at all surprised if they win 1 of those games that you have as losses (the Pats, Cowboys, Ravens, and Titans all have their own issues), but finishing 10-6 is a very reasonable prediction for them.

    I'm not sure I agree that Roethlisberger is overrated, RT, because I think most people recognize him for what he is, which is not one of the top QBs (just as an example, he's only made one Pro Bowl in 4 years, and he won't make it this year - since the Pro Bowl is mostly a popularity contest, you'd expect to see more than one if he was overrated). And while he's been pretty bad more often than not in the playoffs, his 3-game stretch from the Wild Card game through the AFC Championship game in 2006 was as good as anyone could have asked for (49-for-72 [68% completion percentage], 680 yards [9.4 yards per attempt], 7 TDs, and 1 INT).

    10-6 at the worst, which is the Wild Card.

    Pats need to lose against Pitt. I have full faith in Pitt losing at least two games out of that schedule while still beating the pats, but new england isnt dead yet gentleman.

    Number 1 pass defense, number 1 run defense, number 1 total defense. Sorry, that's a playoff team.

    I hope they beat the Pats. The farther away from the playoffs they are, the better.

    I agree. I would rather see the Steelers in the playoffs (Hell, even IN Heinz) then see the Pats. They have a strong defense, but look what just happened against the Titans with us. There O is hurting, and our defense would be able to capatalize. The Pats are just getting stronger each week. I'm rooting hard for Pitts this week.

    I hope the Pats lose to Pitt. but I don't see it happening in NE, sadly. There's still a lot of fear of NE on this board because of Cassel's big comeback against us two weeks ago. I'd love to see them bounced for misery's sake, but it's time we as fans start to man-up to the idea that we're gonna have to beat 'em again in the Playoffs.

    The Pats still really haven't beaten anyone good this year. Their best win was against us week 2 and we sucked back then. If Big Ben doesn't turn it over 3 times which would surprising the Steelers should win.

    A great D is the best thing to have in the NFL. They have a GREAT D.... I can't see them missing the playoffs. They could drop to a wildcard spot but that's as far as I can see it going. That's a toughass schedule though holy.

    The steeleres will make the playoffs. The ravens will fall against the burgh like they did the first time they met. The afc north is theirs for the taking. If their long snapper did not get injured they would have beat the giants. They play hard nose football. Good defense! The cowboys will lose and don't be surprised if they beat the titans and the pats. They may not get a bye but they will win the north and partake in the playoffs.

    Ravens play the Bengals this week, but then the Redskins, Steelers, Cowboys and Jaguars. I could see them finishing 10-6 Tops, probably 9-7. Steelers will win the division.

    This thread assumes that Baltimore can win its division, which I don't see happening.

    Like I said, I'd rather not give Beel Beelichick an opportunity to see us the third time, regardless of where it's at.

    Since Cornell and Weis have officially blown cock, does that mean Belichick really is that good?
