I read it was an 11 year old boys idea. Pretty cool story for him to tell his friends.

I thought it was a cool idea because I read an 11 year old had sent in a letter asking Roger Goodell to do it.

Then I found out it was an 11 year old BOY ..

They should just paint the field pink but that might be tough to watch on tv.

Please don't give them any more ideas.

I'm still waiting for them to support Ovarian Cancer, the #1 KILLER of women, in September. Or maybe childhood cancer, also in September.

The pink is out of control. It's gotten ridiculous in my opinion.

I would think a little pink patch on the jersey would be enough. Like when they wear a black patch to honor someone who's passed. But this whole pink circus is an out of control PR scam for the NFL to make more money on merchandise and to get more female viewers. I heard between 3-5 percent of the money might go to a breast cancer charity. And at that breast cancer charity, how much money of that is actually being used that actually saves lives? That's my question.

It's getting to be such a joke. I play softball and one of my buddies is wearing pink socks during softball games because he thinks its funny. What the NFL is doing, it's just too much.

The true meaning is being lost due to commercialization and the overuse of the pink. So what a 10 yr old kid had an idea does that mean every idea a fan has needs to be acted on. The NFL is not what it used to be and never will be as long as Roger Goodell is in charge.

Every time holding is called on the jets, Mark is going to think women are throwing their panties at him. I'm sure he is used to it.

Can't they just put messages on the TV and have announcers talk about it? I'm honestly tired of pink. It ruins our uniforms. Thank GOD this is the last game with this crap.

Before I get bashed, note that I do care about breast cancer but feel that pink is a stupid color to represent it. I also think they should spread awareness of other cancers that affect males. Why not testicular or pancreatic cancer? They kill plenty of people who don't catch it early enough and are probably the least known about cancers in the world. I don't think there is anybody in the country that isn't aware of breast cancer. We all know deep down inside its a ploy to attract more female viewers to the NFL. Let's be realistic, it's also so old men with weak marriages can cop a feel without having to pay for it.. and you know the doctors are loving it. If I got paid to feel up breasts all day I'd be a pretty happy camper and do whatever it takes to get more hot young women in there.

Oh Hell no. Are the refs going to toss them limp wristed and lisp when they explain the infraction?

"Unneccethary roughness, Defenth, number 30. Fifteen yards from the thpot of the foul. First down. Jethuth."

When will this pink insanity end?

Not really worth getting upset about is it really? It is for a good cause, and they'll all be gone after Sunday.

After the first week, I pretty much stopped noticing it anyway.

Yeah I saw this yesterday and thought this was taking it a little too far.

I don't have a problem with the idea of increasing awareness. I have a problem with pretending to act like this is for increasing awareness when really it is just trying to attract/interest more female fans.

But all for a good cause I guess lol
