I have a feeling he will do well. I remember early practice footage showing him keeping his head on a swivel and not locking on to a receiver. Of course I thought Brooks Bollinger would do well if they leveraged his mobility, so don't believe anything I say.
I have a feeling Gailey will determine just how well Petty does. As we all know, Gailey can go turtle in a moment's notice. He didn't really give Bryce a chance last week with those two LOS screens and handoffs. If Gailey lets the kid play, we'll see some good numbers come out of it. If Gailey wants his buddy Shitz back on the field, look for a super conservative gameplan then the bullshit "Petty aint ready" line from the CS.
He'll have to if the run game does nothing. Plus we gotta see what he can do, I hope they let him let loose and sling it down field. He has chemistry with Robbie Anderson.
Here's a thought if we win the toss ELECT TO RECEIVE !! get us some momentum because we sure as hell know kicking off has not worked out so well in our favor ...
I predict a lot of runs plays, getting stuffed and third and longs forcing Petty to make a play. Sent from my SM-G930P using Tapatalk
Bryce Petty will become a 3 time NFL MVP and a 7 time Super Bowl champion with the Jets. Yes. Sounds nuts...But crazier shit has happened. Donald Trump became the 45th President of the United States
