sorry i hate to be rude, but after seeing the game again i'm convinced he f'ed those plays up on purpose. The way he squibbled the hike to Brad Smith was no less than DICK. He's an asshole and i hope they trade him. fuck what he brings. even if we keep him he is going to under perform on purpose cause he's not happy. I think he's a liability.
dude seriously like i said in the other thread, he's an athlete. Fuck not being used to center. If he wants more money prove why. I swear i couldve seen that shit coming. the way he was talking about i dont know how to play center and i dont know why they are doing that. Man he was waiting for the moment to fuck up so he can go back and throw it in Mangini's face. He didnt have a problem blocking but hiking the ball 4 feet behind you? come on. with the years he has been playing football he should know how to fucking hike the ball.
I dont know if you remember this, but 2 years ago when he played center and it actually mattered, and he wanted to be a jet, and was fine with his contract situation, pete kendall messed up tons of snaps and was horrible as a center. It is stupid to even suggest the idea that he did that on purpose.
I'd excuse one bad snap considering he hasn't played the position in a while, but he does have experience with it and I have to believe at least one of those snaps was on purpose. Although I don't know exactly why he would do that considering if he does get released he probably just hurt his stock a little bit. Another thing that makes me question whether or not it was on purpose is that he did go after and recover a fumble
Are you talking about Penny's first games back? There was a shot last night after he muffed the snap to Brad where he kinda stopped blocking as if he knew something was wrong. You say its stupid to suggest it but i think its a valid assesment to make. Look at his situation the things he has said to media, and if you look further the situation with his agent and the way the Revis shit went down, i'm convinced that he is trying anything to get released cause he hates it here. Trade his ass to KC.
Who cares what he did in a pre-season game? If that bothered you then you can spend all day complaining about how everybody else looked.
i was playing beer pong and decided not to watch the second half (the first half was just so disappointing i figured id wait for pmcr to post the torrent  ) But when did Kendall say the thing about not knowing how to play center? Im gunna go watch the second half.
I do agree it's almost unfathomable being that bad at snapping considering he's a pro.. I mean even middle schoolers don't usually fuck up that much. But there's no way he did that intentionally. He was probably half-assing it a bit, but I can't see him purposely snapping the ball out of reach. I mean what could he possibly gain from doing that?
Center is the hardest position on offense. Someone is smashing into your head before the ball has left your hand on a long snap. It's much harder to do than most think. Practicing it for a week or two in camp against your own team does NOT prepare a non-center to be an effective one. He just effed up...it's highly unlikely he did it on purpose
Everyone cares what happens in preseason Don, preseason is your dress rehearsal, those who are not guaranteed a starting position on the team are playing they're asses off. You expect the coaching staff to make a desicion on a player based completely on how they played the previous season? Pre-season has a huge part in deciding starters?
thats exactly what i was gonna say. stop bashing kendall hes a good guard with 12 yrs NFL ex . and we need that on our young line. and hes not a center! remember 2 yrs ago vs atlanta he fumbled snaps and f'd up all season.
Screwing up snaps as center doesn't affect Kendall's value one bit. He's a guard anywhere he goes. Clark doesn't look that good to me so I expect to see Kendall as our starting LG opening day. Brick looked pathetic too.
I seem to remember Mawae screwing up a few shotgun snaps as well when he was here. No one was implying that he was doing it on purpose.
