Our run defense realy needs to step up this year

    ........to get ready for 2008 - think about it we are playing nfc west and afc west

    look at all those great running backs were going to have to face in '08

    That's true and it's all going to come down to the NT and the 2 inside linebackers. The middle of our run defense was pretty loose for most of last season.

    The good news is that we have two drafts and a full season to fix the run defense before we face the elite running backs in 08.

    That was a ridiculous stretch too. 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 all on the road to Oakland.

    Thats just because they were one of 3 games against the teams that finish the same place in the division the year before. When you play the whole division, like we are in the NFC West then it alternates.
