Positive thinking. -Jets lost to AFC West San Diego, then won 2 in a row. -Jets then lost to AFC West Oakland, then won 5 in a row. Pattern: 2, 5, then 8? -Jets then lose to AFC West Denver, then win 8 in a row? -There are 4 regular season games left and if we don't get the first-round bye, there will be 4 postseason games including the Super Bowl. We can do it! This is just a fun little thread for optimism.
Only 4 Games left better hope we win 3 out of 4 or we could be Badly upset by the Cheatriots or the hated shitfins... 49ers in there house could be a toughy but there just so damn bad on offense and Defense aint nothing special either and who's there QB O'Sullivan or Shaun Hill ? Either way we should be in there backfield all day since they've givin up about 40 sacks this season. Baffaulo has diminished to shit like they are and where Home and there banged up we should capitalize there. The Seahawks are badly injured but its never ever easy to win in Seattle especially if Hasslebecks feelin better. Lastly the shitfins at home on the last game of the season. We KILL Em. 3 out of 4 seems very possible. 11-5 is our goal.
Each winning streak was either the same or one more than the amount of losses after the loss or the loss that broke the winning streak. That means the Jets will either win 4 or 5 in a row. 1-2 turned into 3-2, then 3-3. 3-3 turned into 8-3, then 8-4 (one more win on the streak than in the loss column). The Jets will now win 4 in a row. If that gets the #2 seed, the Bye acts as a loss, and then the cycle starts again - meaning 5 in a row, which means a 2-0 start next year.
All we gotta do is win 3 out of the next 4, but 2 of those wins have to be against the bills and dolphins because of the tie breaker for the divison. If the Jets can win out and maybe get a bye that would be great too, but 3 out 4 to win the divison and get a home playoff game that would be nice as well.
