    Fans,

Based off of some feedback, I'm working on an article looking at the 31 other NFL teams and their general managers. In particular, the success, or lack there of, in their first two seasons compared with John Idzik. For specific reasons, it will only include a record through the first 10 games of their second season.

In order to organize the article, I was going to put it in "slideshow" format in order to separate each general manager. Rather than putting everything on one page, I figured this would be an easy way to separate each general manager and make it easy to direct between one or the other. On each page, there will be direct links to each specific general manager so there is no need to click through in order to find the one you like. Or, you can view each by clicking through.

I wanted your opinion on that format, or if you believe fans would prefer a different means by which to have the information delivered. I know when it comes to slide shows, there is a mixed reaction.

    Thanks,
    Connor

I hate slideshows. I always thought they were made to add clicks to serve more ads.

If all 32 links are there that might be good.

Most people have fast enough internet to scroll down.

If you are doing a comparison, I can't see why you would choose a slideshow. Will Idzik's comparable record be on each slide or will we be expected to remember 'Slide 1' as we click through?

Surely an article with a few graphs (Idzik vs GMs of AFC East/West etc.) would serve better for this information?

Slide shows are a gimmick to garner multiple site hits, it's actually the way BR.com made enough money to hire actual journalists instead of just letting any stupid asshole write an "article".

It's annoying and usually not worth the effort unless the writer is amazing. Which is contradictory, because an amazing writer would never want to write a piece that was split up into slide segments.

I don't like slideshows. I will not read them because they usually are awkward, take a while to load, and I don't want to click through all of them.

I don't read it if it's a slide show just because its a cheap way to get multiple clicks.

What's wrong with a simple spread sheet?

I almost never click on slide shows as I refuse to be treated like a click generating idiot. So my suggestion, stay away from slideshows.

Apparently, Connor Hughes didn't have enough clout to avoid a really boring slideshow.
