1) Beat an undefeated team and the Pats on the road in the same season. 2) Could go 5-1 in the AFC East with a win against Miami. What team goes 5-1 in their division and does not win it (THE JETS). 3) Send 6 Pro Bowlers and one Brett Favre to the Pro Bowl. 4) Go 0-4 against losing teams on the West Coast. 5) Will miss the playoffs if they don't get help next week. I just don't get it. I do know one thing they have not had a head coach that could coach on Sundays since Parcells we need a real coach.
In regards to number 2. In 2001 the packers were either 5-1 or 6-0 in the division, including two wins over the bears. However, they finished with a 12-4 record when the bears finished with a 13-3 record, so they did not win the division.
Make sure next monday to add in: miraculously made the playoffs. Following the Jets trend it's very possible.
Our defense also managed to make Tyler Thigpen, Shaun Hill, JaMarcus Russell and Seneca Wallace look like Joe Montana.
They also lost every game in which they trailed at the half this season. If that doesn't scream "Coaching Issue" I don't know what does.
I've said it once and now I'm saying it again, it's coaching. He has all his players now and still can't get the job done. That game yesterday really hurt and I saw it coming but still had faith in my team. Well same old Jets comes to mind when I think of this season. We controlled our own destiny and couldn't even win. These teams weren't good teams, after the Tennessee game. You don't just go from top of the world to a big pile of crap, it has to be coaching. Good offense, good defense, then fall to nothing. San Francisco, Denver, Seattle, Buffalo, these teams aren't good at all. Oh well I guess I'll have to hope we win on Sunday and New England gets beat by the Bills.

Its been a while since he sniffed a super bowl himself so it comes as no surprise that we are also miles from where we need to be. For as long as I have been a Jets fan its always been a struggle. Just think when we were horrid in the mid 90's , I would start each year with such great enthusiasm and end up with what we are feeling now. Its pretty standard now. But there's hope!
