ok now i know this was brought up a few weeks back and everyone said not a chance of even a wild card but how bout being 1 game outa first and after next week well have one of the easiest schedules in the league imo whatcha know about that????
The Jets winning today makes me think about a possible playoff berth again because of the easy schedule and the fact the Jets are only one behind the pats.
Yeah, we're back in a position to start talking about it again. Grudgingly, I'll admit that. However, we did lose to cleveland two weeks ago, remember? Don't get too excited homeslice.
We were never out of the race, and now with all the teams in the wildcard race losing, and now with a shot at the AFCE title, jets are in GREAT shape. As I've said time and time again, Jets will have no problem reaching the playoffs.
its possible, but remember,we lost the game we shoulda won 2 weeks ago. Anything can happen. 1 week at a time and just enjoy this one to the fullest.
YEa ONE GAME AT A TIME: 3 rough Games Ahead CHI, HOU, GB CHi is obviously a great time. HOU and GB are tougher than ppl see them. We just gotta take it one game at a time.
I will be bar hopping on Sunday rooting for the Jets in the midst of all those Bears fans! I will represent!
The Playoff Picture division leaders 1. Colts 9-0 2. Baltimore 7-2 3. SD 7-2 4. NE 6-3 -wildcards- 5. Denver 6-2 (switch with SD if win) 6. KC/Jax/NYJ 5-4 9. Cincinatti 4-5 We are very much in it! Especially the race for the AFCE.
Man, that CLE game would be huge now.. but let's look at this: NYJ/KC/JAX would be in a 3 way tie right now. I'm not going to go into common games now, but in the division, NYJ and JAX would be tied on conference, so KC would be done, and JAX/NYJ would be broken by the head to head. Everything, and I mean everything, fell right for us in terms of the playoffs today. If we won at CLE, we'd be in as we speak.. 1) Indianapolis 9 0 0 1.000 249 189 Won 9 3-0 7-0 2/5) Denver 6 2 0 .750 141 98 Won 1 2-0 6-1 2/5) San Diego 6 2 0 .750 248 134 Won 2 1-1 4-2 3) Baltimore 6 2 0 .750 171 111 Won 2 2-0 4-1 4) New England 6 3 0 .667 201 131 Lost 2 4-1 5-3 6) Jacksonville 5 4 0 .556 185 127 Lost 1 1-3 3-3 7) NY Jets 5 4 0 .556 177 207 Won 1 3-1 4-4 8) Kansas City 5 4 0 .556 193 182 Lost 1 1-1 1-4 Cincinnati 4 5 0 .500 175 168 Lost 2 2-1 3-2 Houston 3 6 0 .333 144 206 Won 1 2-2 3-2 Buffalo 3 6 0 .333 140 180 Lost 1 1-3 1-4 Miami 3 6 0 .333 146 168 Won 2 0-3 2-5 Oakland 2 6 0 .250 92 164 Lost 1 0-2 1-4 Cleveland 3 6 0 .250 133 171 Lost 1 0-2 2-4 Pittsburgh 2 6 0 .250 177 176 Lost 3 0-1 2-5 Tennessee 2 7 0 .250 120 216 Lost 1 1-2 1-5
Yes. We're all very much aware. But you, Rob, are the only one rushing to the front of the pack to create a thread about it. Shall I be surprised?
One game at a time...but look at the Jags and KCs remaining schedule, a lot more difficult then the Jets.
Not that it's too early, but I agree with you on taking 1 game at a time. As Eric Mangini said on SNY Post Game Live to the Media, "We are just looking towards going to Chicago next week."
