Have to say when Carpenter went out I feared the worst but watching again and looking at Johnson he seems strong in pass block and decent pulling and movement. He was drafted by Steelers so that probably explains it !

Alongside the RT battle we do seem to have some depth and it may be unpopular but Winters looks excellent do far this season. Clearly he is on an upward curve and has great mobility which suits our run game.

Good job by scouting / coaching in this area for me.

I'll be the first one to eat crow on winters, I have been down on the guy but only because I have seen how bad he was, your right though. He has been a good surprise and I hope he keeps it up, I want the team to succeed I never root against players.

I just don't want to have scrubs on the team.

Johnson seems to fit the guard position very well, I know the jets wanted him to play center and eventually take over for Mangold, he just looks so comfortable at guard.

Bowles was a man of his word when he said Winters improved, unlike coaches of the past who would blow smoke...u know the rest. O line is ballin! I thought they would be the weak link but I was wrong.

So far so good. I'm surprised that they have played so well, but extremely happy. I just hope it continues and that Carpenter's injury isn't serious.

If this keeps up, we might end up drafting another corner in next year's first round.

I don't know if it was the all white jerseys but the Jets O-line looked like absolute beasts. Specifically Mangold and Johnson. They had shots on the sidelines of the Bills D-lineman sucking absolute wind. I've been impressed. Further, the Clady deal looks like a homerun by Mac. Potentially even more valuable than bringing in Brandon Marshall.
