I think that we are one of the few teams that would want to move up with Texas. The Titans would, but they don't have the fire power to do so. They gave up their third round pick for T. Henry. If we don't move up, I think Texas could suprise everyone and take Brick. Does anyone else think this is possible???
If the Texans truly have Brick targeted they could only really trade down to the 6th or so pick to get him, because he won't last longer than that. I'm sure that the Texans will be able to get some sort of compensation from someone in the 2-6 range so I doubt they stay at their position if they want to draft Ferguson.
They are facing facts, while Bush may be talented as hell, a lot of critics say he is not an every down back. Furthermore, can you imagine your first round, breaking the bank pick, gets hurt on a punt return, ouch! They would love trade down, get some additonal picks and end up with Brick, I am sure some team will bite. It's to bad they want to keep David Carr and Vince Youngs stock dropping; drafting Young would have a huge impact on their franchise, their fan base would explode, a local home town kid, but alas that will not happen.
I think the Texans will try to sweet talk the Titans into swapping picks. I believe the Titans are likely to take Ferguson at #3, but the thought of reuniting Chow with Leinart has to intrigue them. To do that, they'd have to leapfrog New Orleans.
If the Texans are smart, they trade down for Brick. However, hype will rule the day and they will stay at 1 and take Bush.
5% at best. If this is really how they feel, I think they try to seel the Saints on trading up to ensure the Jets or anyone else can't pass them for Leinart. The Saints would be able to get the pick at less than what the chart says because the Texans are desperate to get something out of it.
