From today's Cimini blog in the Daily News If the Jets think they?re a legitimate playoff contender, they?re living a lie - despite what the standings say. Right now, they?re an underachieving team, still searching for offensive balance and still trying to play a complete game. They?re far too inconsistent for the amount of talent on the roster.
So he is saying they are a playoff team then, since they have played bad and are still 4-3. They have the talent and if they can fix their mistakes they will be hard to beat? Thats what it sounds like to me.
We´re on a Playoffspot right now and we´re underarchieving, but we´re not a playoffteam. Doesn´t make sense to me. After reading all the bash for Brick from you the last few years, and see how he´s playing this season makes me confident that VG has a bright future. Keep bashing him!
Well one was written by Canny the other by Cimini so complain to them not me. All I do is log on & read what they write. If you do not like it complain to them or there bosses
On the surface you are right. However, we are talking about the NFL and its quest of PARITY. No team is truly dominant as in the past. Tennessee and the giaints being closest to the exceptions. More teams will finish nearly equal then ever before. The NFL makes money! The teams make money! Pure football as we remember are what suffers! Most teams even the giaints have had embarassing losses or wins in an embarassing way. Again, we are talking about PARITY in the classic sense of the word. PETE ROSELLE wanted it and we got it! No more dynasties like the old Packers, Cowboys, Patriots( an exception to the rule of parity). We will see more "thrilling" races to the wire between teams with 8 and 8 records then ever before. One team will win the SB and be barely better then their rivals. Thats PARITY! On any given SUNDAY!
I'm not complaining, I'm asking you a question. I know you hate to answer them, but you're the one who titles the threads.
Keep in mind the mediocrity of the AFC in general this year. We have a two game lead over the #8 team (tied with Baltimore for 6/7). We are halfway through the year and have no notable injuries yet we are supposed to ignore the standings and current results as if they have no bearing on reality? Seems laughable to me.
The jets made a bad decision with QB Brett INT Farve - The ? is - what are they gonna do next year - what they did this season with Brett has set them back ,they should've moved forward with a rookie QB.:shit:
Why bother complaining to them? They write the negative stuff because they know it gets gullible fans angry even though I've seen people on this very that could do their job twice as good. They write the negative stuff because it sells copies. For now. Someday newspapers will be obsolete in favor of balanced writing online, and hacks like Can'O'Lardo will be out of business.
The question was about your thread titles, actually a joking question. Take another pain pill and read it again.
That is what you always say. But I never see you posting a positive article, or even a neutral one. You seek out the negatives and then come running back here to post with glee. It is quite apparent with anyone with half a brain as to what your intentions are (further supported by how you choose to title yout threads), so you can stop with this innocent "I just post the articles" routine.
