    Guys,

I'm staying with my family in Time Square tonight. Using my Blackberry, I saw that there is a NY Jets Shop on Madison Ave. I can't get too much info about it through my blackberry, but I just want to know if it is still open and if it is worth a visit. Also, if you know what time it closes, that would be helpful.

    Thanks in advance,
    DbJ

This is incorrect info. It's actually around the corner from Madison. The BUILDING it is in has the 437 Mad address, but the shop itself is on 50th, just around the corner, going toward Park.

It's pretty cool. Well worth a visit if you are in town already. Would I fly in just to go to the store? Not so much.

i was just going off the site's little google map info, thanks for the correction.
or to be more clear, the google map on their site put the little marker between those streets and i just blurted that "between x and y" stuff out.
will have to check it out one day.

I work 2 blocks away. It's a pretty cool place, bought a father's day present there. Always quiet, although perhaps that may change in the near future?

Thanks for the help all....I just got back. Lots of cool little accessories. The appareal is way overpriced (then again all official apparel is). I did find a nice hoodie on sale for $39.00. It was an XL, and I am a large, but I couldn't pass up the price. My son bought a $4 pennant and a pack of all Jets trading cards.

Yeah, I went before pre-season even started, and there were a couple of people there, but pretty quiet.

I should check it out the day after a Jet win, which if they don't get another wideout might be no sooner than mid October.

I'll be checking it out this weekend! Looking forward to it. :)

It's kind of hard to find Jets merchandise and trinkets and so on. There just isn't that much of it. Or so it seems. It's easier to find Raiders and Dallas crap than Jets stuff. Go figure.

Try finding Jet gear in the DC area. It is all Redskins...with a smattering of Steelers, Eagles, and Ravens.

I should have explained 'go figure', but part of the reason for it is all the little fags who defected the Jets when they were younguns because the Jets were consistently losing. I'm talking years ago, of course. Jumping ship because you can't handle it, little boys always move to the team that wins. Little pricks. That's why so many people in NY are Dallas, Raiders, Miami and Steeler fans. Nancies.

I commend our fans. Older fans and young ones, too. You need nerves of steel, mild retardation, and a death wish. But we're all in!

Buncha sh*theels. I can't tell you the crap I used to get growing up being a Jets fan. It only gave me a tougher chin.

Well, in the words of the Great Dracula:

"Do not put your faith in such trinkets of deceit."

I think the same applies here
