NY Jets Hard Knocks DVD?

    I haven't been on in awhile so this may or may not have been a topic already but will they be releasing the Jets Hard Knocks on DVD?

    they havent released any of em on dvd altho since its a ny team it may

    My Dad doesn't have HBO. He watched the 1st episode online at NFL.com and loved it. I'd love to be able to get the DVD as a Christmas present.

    oh my, I will be looking for these when I get back, we don't have HBO either.. I dont care if the shows over I still want to see it.

    I emailed HBO about buying them.

    I know the DL's are available but they are censored.

    Did you receive a response yet?? I've also sent couple random emails to HBO informing them I wish to make this purchase & received no response yet. Crazy to not have an easy option for fans to pay for copy.

    I don't see why HBO would not release it on DVD, they would make a killing, not just the Jets but all the other teams that have been on the show as well...

    Also for the fact that HBO usually charges an arm and a leg for most of their Blu-Ray/DVD releases.

    I could see it happening.

    HBO would be ridiculous not to.

    although I think the reason for past releases stemmed probably from legal and royalty/licensing issues which complicated matters. or at minimum, effected their bottom line to the point it wasn't worth selling.

    However given the popularity of this season (even amongst non jet fans....i cant tell you how many opposing fans watched it), I expect them to do this soon enough.

    Most of the time the DVD's don't come out till months 7 or 8 later for any HBO series.

    It's not a series that would have the long term sales as a Sopranos or True blood (due to the fact sales do quite well many years after due to fans getting into the show later on), but I think it'd have a considerable immediate revenue.

    Doesn't make sense to release it after this season so yeah, it would have to be within a month or two.
