Thomas Jones??? Not too excited. I'd rather see what Tannenbaum could've done on his own.

Not too impressed by guys giving away picks because they're scared of making a pick. He couldn't draft a young running back?

Now that he's kicked away his one good move last year (getting Washington's #2), it's time for Tannenbaum to GET A PLAYER WITH THE POTENTIAL TO BE A BLUE CHIPPER ON THE ROSTER. A difference-maker. Somebody who will make a play in a game against the Patriots.

TRADE UP AND GET US ONE OF THOSE BIG ENDS OR TACKLES.

Ummm George in case you haven't read the fine print, the Jets also got the Bears 2nd round pick in the deal so really we got a proven NFL starting NFL RB and all it cost us a few picks in the 2nd round.

He's right, but now that we've picked up a RB, an OT (assuming Colombo signs) and maybe even a LB (Joey Porter would be nice), that Calvin Johnson deal is sounding real sweet.

This is a guy who blew his load over the fact the Pats gave up a 2nd and 7th round pick for Wes Welker.

    He's not very legit.

cj never sounded sweet. in fact most us really wanted AP. now that we have jones sit tight see who falls anything good than you make a move up. if not keep plan going . we could get 3 new players n the defensive side of the ball.

D line, Linebackers,CB could all use a jolt of some sort of upgrade.

Sorry if I can't get excited about Jones, maybe I'm a little excited. He's a nice player, just not enough.

Fact is, since the Patriots rise to dominance in 2001, the argument could be made that the talent gap between the two teams was not wide.

In fact, I believe the Jets had better talent up until a few years ago. The difference was always Brady and better coaching with Belichick and Weiss.

Now, with the addition of Mangini, the hope is that the coaching gap will close, but when you go down the rosters, the Pats are starting to gallop ahead in terms of personnel.

The dollar-store purchases that TannenJohnson are making now are leaving us in 2nd place--a spot we've occupied for 5 years now.

In my opinion, unless the Jets change their pennypinching ways, the Patriots dynasty is only just beginning. What we've suffered through is nothing compared to what's coming. They may win out the rest of the decade.

First of all, the Pats traded for Wes Welker, and gave up a 2nd and a 7th. Yippie!

The Jets trade down in the 2nd round for a RB that averages 4 ypc. Sounds like the Jets are smarter than the Pats

Nah, we stay where we are in the draft... Especially if we sign Marc Columbo.

We need to sit with the picks we have...we need those 4 picks on day one.

We have alot of wholes on defense that need to be filled with youth(NT, DE, MLB, CB) and we need guys that fit the scheme...

A trade up is the last thing on my mind...If Tannenbaum is the real deal he will be able to draft solid players anywhere.

I'd like to get excited about Marc Columbo, please tell me something about Marc Columbo.

Also, someone please tell me why a player from Miami's defense -- a team that has not been in the playoffs since the turn of the century -- is somebody that's going to help our team.

I'm open to being enthused, sincerely.

Unfortunately, yes he was able to get to the lab computer. I think the extra seretonin/L-Dopa they used when they experimented with his banana's gave him the added bit of intelligence to get the latch on the cage open and pound on the keyboard a little bit.

It is okay I am going to call security before he does any more damage.

Considering Miami has had a very good defense for a few years...

So, by your logic, Zach Thomas and Jason taylor are worthless.

Those are the two names I would accept.

But please, tell me why something about Bowens that you saw or remember or read somewhere that says he something better than what we have.
