I honestly did not see it happening for us but if this happened it would really be bad for us. From PFT

"COULD OCHO CINCO JOIN HUE IN MIAMI?

Our report that former Falcons offensive coordinator Hue Jackson will interview for a job with the Dolphins is sparking speculation among Fins fans that the hiring of Jackson could be a precursor to the swinging of a deal for Bengals receiver Chad Johnson.

Jackson was Johnson's position coach in Cincinnati through 2006, and coincidentally Johnson was never regarded as a malcontent or a trouble-maker until his first season without Jackson (with the exception, of course, of Johnson's halftime meltdown during a 2005 Wild-Card playoff game against the Steelers).

Adding fuel to the theory are undated comments from Chad Johnson on NFL Network, in which he strongly hints that he'd like to play for the Dolphins -- and then closes by saying, "Parcells call me, man."

    Noooooooo

Looks like Miami is gonna be making some big splashes in this offseason while the jets on the other hand most likely will sit back as if where a 14 and 2 Powerhouse Dynasty.

I seriously doubt Parcells wants him on his team...the guy is talented, but comes with too much BS. Not something you want for the 'rebuilding' process IMO

Parcells has shown willingness to take on questionable personalities so long as their competitive fire isn't questioned.. guys like Terrell Owens and Bryan Cox.

Chad Johnson could definitely be on the radar.

^I was thinking TO too, until I remembered it was JJ who put the wind in those sails.

Bryan Cox is nothing compared to TO when it comes to distractions and whining. Also Parcells wasn't fond of TO, always called him "the player" Jones was the one that wanted him.

Parcells isn't going to be directly involved like he used to be. If Ocho Cinco gives Miami a chance to win, then they will trade for him.

Even if it was JJ, Parcells has shown that he is willing to handle and accept the loonies.

    Keyshawn was another good example.

And he's far too much of a control guy to not be the primary figure in decision making.

The question is what is Cincy going to want for him? I wouldn't mind him going to the Phins for a high 2nd? The guy killed the Bengals last year and couldn't get along with a QB like Palmer, how do you think he would like to play with Beck?

I can't see the Dolphins giving away any picks this year, if they do then good luck to them..

Jets have an opportunity at acquiring a big-time wide receiver. Instead, they choose to sit on their hands and watch the Dolphins and Patriots come in and pick them up.

The guy is 30, that's another knock on the guy. I'd love to have him but not for what it would cost to get him. Bad teams need hogs not ballerinas!

Even our 2nd is a bit too high since it's pretty much a first rounder because New England loses theirs. Maybe 2b(New England's pick) would do it

Lol, if this doesn't describe the common Jets fan than I dont know what does. Bashing the Jets for baseless speculation, oh boy..

WRs don't age like running backs: they take less of a beating and can play well into their thirties.

Guys like Owens, Moss, Holt, Driver, Mason, Burress, and Galloway (All at least 30 and at least 1000 yard seasons) show this to be true.

Very true...however this past year he did have a concussion. Still top 10 though IMO.

If I were to compare Chad Johnson to anyone, it would hardly be TO or Bryan Cox. He's not even as bad as his cousin Keyshawn, and Parcells handled Key easily. BTW, I think Meshawn was probably pimping his disgruntled cousin to Parcells the moment he found out Tuna was going to Miami.

I think Ocho Cinco would rather go to a place where he has a shot at winning.

He could make either San Diego or Jacksonville both scary good very fast.

Parcells got us from 1-15 to 12-4 in two seasons with Keyshawn Johnson on the roster....

I'm sure Chad Johnson would not hinder the process that much
