FOX just cut to the Meadowlands for a game preview, and there is not a stitch of snow on the playing field.
What about wind in the stadium? They are just saying that with the swirling winds, it should be about 18 degrees at gametime, and that will be the coldest game Mark has ever played in.
They put tarps down and heat the field. This isn't shocking. The fact that there isn't a flake left in Philly is impressive. That grounds crew did an awesome job.
I was watching a vid last night on NFL.com with a reporter at the stadium in Philly and she mentioned that there are 28 miles of heating pipes under the field...that's a lot of pipe.
That's more pipe than Tiger Woods laid. Boooo!!! :lol:I know, I know. They did mention that the field was pretty slippery for the Jets game, so it will still not be easy getting around.
