I'm not surprised. Mangini is a disciplined coach, he just needs some real experience in my opinion. He and Saban are going to be giving Belichick and the Pats fits for years to come!!!....

You know all I have been reading on his Mini Camps and what I have saw of clips of the team at their first mini camp looks like this is going to be a great summer camp come July. Its a shame I most likely wont make it to Hostra this year but OH BOY im sure this camp will much different then the ones I went to when Herm was there. In just a few clips I did see I saw the players running going through play skills and so much more something I dont remember or just never saw with our LAST coach. So I can see why the vet players are excited. For the first time in a while this team will at LEAST BE in shape for the season.. GIVE THEM HELL MANGINI.

I figured that the Jets players would say how bad he is and that they don't believe in his plan.

These type of tidbits are useless. What am I really supposed to get out of it, that they already won the Super Bowl? Just wait til he coaches and we'll all see how good or bad he is. Sheesh.

GM, you're better than this!!

Did you just wee yourself? "Later..."

EDIT: ^I just saw that. All is fair in love and war. It's all in good natured fun. Just ask Dirtywater. He'll tell you that Tom Brady does indeed wear ass-creeping pants - and he emulates him proudly. His very own form of hero worship. HAH.

I forgot all about his "Later" routine. Boy am I happy he dropped the Captain Obvious act. I always thought he should have began every post with an obvious line like, "Starting..."

... just bustin' chops Blitz.

Your QB is in the grasp you say? Whoever the hell that is. Daunte someone. He what? Right. He's got some Native American blood: Daunte Little Hands Fumbles Much.

It is way too early to even talk about Mangini. As of June, he is getting rave reviews. I'll wait till I actually see him coach, see just how well he prepares for a game. Preparing for practice and preparing for a game is just a little bit different.

I agree that does make sense. someone could get good reviews and look be a very good coach (witch i think Mangini is) and could be horrible during the season.

^I wear rose colored glasses from the close of the season to the start of the next every year without fail. As of right now, the Jets are going to the Superbowl. Week 2? They're dead in the water and why is this rope not long enough for me to sling over that beam on the ceiling. Hehehe.
