    Begins Wedensday 8 PM EST.

Few things about this series. We have to win the non Carpenter games. Jason Marquis, Jeff Weaver, Jeff Suppan.. gotta slap those guys around. Cards bullpen stinks too. No reason to not be successful in this series.

MOST IMPORTANTLY though.. do NOT let Pujols do ANYTHING.

ANY big spot, 4 balls and take your base. Tie game at any point of the contest, he is not getting a strike to hit.

Carpenter went tonight so he cannot go 3 times in the series.

    LETS GO METS!

    Prediciton: Mets in 6

The Cardinals actually played a pretty good series. Much better than I thought they would play. And with that offense, they should be in most of the games. Should be a fun series.

Saw this coming in March. I mean, was there any doubt, ever? No.

I expect big things from Carlos and Carlos this series... Beltran will be inspired but the challenge of facing off with Pujols. I would like nothing more then to beat the Cards and Dodgers in the same post season... 2 of our biggest rivals.

There have already been Cardinals-Tigers, Mets-Athletics, and Cardinals-Athletics World Series, so Tigers-Mets would be something new.

I have tickets to game 2 and game 7.

Hope I don't need the game 7 tickets.

and even with all the injuries this team is playing real sound together.
Plus there are players on this team you just cannot hate.
mets should win this series if this plays in order

Mets should throw Oliver Perez whenever the Cards throw Carpenter. On the 10% chance that he has his stuff he should keep us in the game and if not at least we cleared him.

That's a very interesting idea, but do you think Willie would have the guts to do it? One possible way it could happen is that only Glaine is a "true" top of the roatation guy, and he will clearly pitch game 1 (and Carpenter won't). The other guys probably wouldn't bitch about where they started, as long as they did.
