Just want to give the guy a mention. He quietly had a very nice game today. He completed a big pass to Sudfeld out of the wildcat to set up a FG that closed the game to 7-6. Then following the 2nd Jimmy Graham TD, he returned the kickoff out to the 40 to give us great field position to start our answering TD drive making it 14-13. He also gave us some productive carries.

He's been a good pickup for us, and in his short time here he's already been twice as productive as Clyde Gates ever was. Hopefully we'll keep using him just enough to add a spark, while keeping him healthy for the rest of the season.

He is a great gadget player. No doubt. Way better in the return game than Gates, I will not miss that guy....

Good game from Cribbs, he adds a lil something else to our team.

How was he still available when we got him?

I guess a lot of teams don't really want to use a roster space on a return specialist, but he's also a WR.

I feel so much better about the Special Teams with Cribbs back there rather than Clyde Gates, who would return almost every kickoff and rarely get even close to the 20 yard line.

With all the injuries at receiver, I wouldn't be surprised if he got more reps.

What a tight spiral Cribbs threw on that 25-yard wild cat play. So, maybe he's not our next QB in the wings but, nice to know that arm is there for the odd trick play.

Idzick gets more productivity out of the scrap heap than his predecessor out of the "trade our draft picks heap"

Well the last time teams saw Cribbs, he was seemingly a shell of his former self.

It goes to show you how much the knee was an issue because now that I see him healthy, he looks like Cribbs of old...I'd love to get him more plays in space because he clearly has the old moves he had that made him such a dangerous returner/player in the past.

He's a major upgrade at both Punt Returner and Kick Returner.
He's also good as a Gunner, in Kickoff coverage, can run and pass effectively in read option, and is capable as a WR adding deep pattern/screen/reverse concerns for the D.

Great signing of a character veteran who can contribute in a variety of ways..

People are not talking about Cribbs enough. He is doing really well and was a great addition, who will only get better in time. Love it!
