This is about right, as far as where they rank.....Lets hope Ducasse pans out..

    4. Jets (9-7) – PRE-CAMP OUTLOOK: The new Jets are brash and bold in every way, and they show with every offseason move. The draft was no different, as the Jets supplemented their draft haul by cutting guard Alan Faneca and trading RB Leon Washington to the Seahawks. Replacing Faneca is New York's second-round pick, OL Vladimir Ducasse (which sounds more like a cello player than a lineman). The Jets dealt Washington once they traded up to grab USC star Joe McKnight in the fourth round. And adding first-round CB Kyle Wilson to Darrelle Revis and Antonio Cromartie could be deadly for opposing QBs

That'd odd, Madden had them as the fourth best team too.

Do you think all these "reporters" just copy Madden? lol

I think it was because we were 4th best in the league last year. IMO we have definitely solidified our spot there. We're not as good as the Colts and Saints (as of now), I'd say tied with the Ravens (we'll see week 1), tied with Vikings (too many Favre question marks at this point). Mind you this is offseason, these are basically paper rankings. 4th is a fair place to put the Jets right now, considering that many people thought that we were lucky to even get to 4th place last year. It shows we're starting to get universal respect.

Interesting. IMO, there are just too many questions to rank them that high. Will Jason Taylor provide the pass rush we so desperately need? Will Greene make it through the season unhurt? Will Folk suck (the answer to that is yes, he will cost us at least one game this year)? Can LT regain some of his old form behind this awesome OL? How badly will the loss of Fanaca affect the running game? Can Sanchez protect the ball? Will either of our potential #1 WRs actually step up and BE a #1 receiver? Can Rex get this team to gel, and can he handle the motley crew of players signed this offseason?

Just too many questions. If you look at the Saints and Colts, they don't have those types of questions. A few, sure, but not like the Jets. I believe that this can be a great season in NYJ history, but it's far from a foregone conclusion.

Love the confidence you got in Folk. Other than that all the other questions are legit but come on man wait until he at least fucks up over here before we bash the guy. I'm sure every team throughout the season has a kicker blow at least 1 game winning kick for them.

Did you see him last year for Dallas? He sucks, man. He sucked so bad they cut him during the season! They should have just paid Feely.

If I just went thru hip surgery and had Jerry Jones breathing down my neck 24/7....I wouldn't kick well either.

give the kid a chance. On paper, he's heads above Feely.

Every team has numerous questions no offence. We don't have that many imo. And we will get our answers pretty quickly, by week 4 we will know how good our team is.

    Without Holmes?

There's no way you can know how good the offense will be by week 4, let alone the defense.

I think which Sanchez comes back and what Ducasse does on the line are pretty big questions on O. Throw in backfield depth with Jones gone, and that's some big questions for a top team.

They have you guys ranked right. But Miami at #16? Don't agree with that!

I don't think thats completely unfair. I think at the very highest we should be 13 or so and the very lowest is about 16.

On the nfl.com poll, we came in at 18 and even Rich Eisen himself said that was too low for the Dolphins

You can say that the Dolphins are underrated but you can't really blame people for putting them somewhere in the middle because they could go either way.

I see what's going on here, now-

We have these friendly and agreeable (at times) Dolphin trolls admitting to a faulty team that's not quite ready for prime time.

In actuality they are just waiting for our first matchup because it's a win/win on the forum. They'll either laugh and talk major shit if they win or say yeah we figured if they lose.

    I'm onto you guys!!

So we really should have signed Feely then BIG TIME! Haha. :)

Seriously though, Folk just needs to start strong. If he starts bad, he will be bad.
