Wow if even a couple guys came through it would change the entire look of the team, I like the idea of Kitna, Smith and Kimo, and Shaffer, if the cap is extended there is a possibility, I would love Bentley but I highly dount we get him
I dont like the move for Mcginest being that he is an older vet on the downside of his career. I would love to see a lavar arrington or julian peterson in green and white. If we were to draft Cutler i wonder how the fans would react to him being benched for a vet. It seems apparent were not a playoff team next year so I would rather throw him to the wolves and let him take his lumps
Arrington or Peterson would be way too expensive. But Derek Smith being brought in would be exactly like us bringing in Bryan Cox many years ago... Tough leader with a ton of experience. I would like to bring him in.
A guy id love to put alongside Vilma would be Bobby Carpenter. If we trade down i see him as a great option
I would actually like Mcginest if we signed him hes a very solid players and works good in the 3-4 i think hes got a couple years left. O line should be adressed in free agency and the draft as well as the QB position. I say we draft Cutler and Give Chad another shot and if Chad struggles we give it over to Cutler and release Chad the next season.
If we could manage to bring in Kimo and Shaffer I would be happy. Don't know much about Shaffer, but the Falcons tend to have one of the better running games in the league.
Big Gabe Watson could be there in the second round. My roomate is a pretty huge Michigan fan and he tells me Gabe has the talent of a top5 pick but he has to be motivated to play. I would take a shot with him or sign mike kae'motu(think i spelled it right) from the ravens
Shaffer makes no sense, unless Mangini doesn't like Adrian Jones. Neither can play RT, and Shaffer is even smaller than Jones.
I would like to draft Gabe Watson hes a beast. We could also sign a free agent or idk maybe Pouha could start if we give him a shot. When he started last year due to injuries he looked pretty good.
Are you kiddin me we havent even given Pouha a shot. We didnt pick him in the 3rd round of last years draft to ride the bench.
Pouha is a bum, he was an underachiever in college and cant play well unless the coach puts his foot up his ass
Yea ok we havent even given him a chance and your already assumin he sucks. If you watched him when he played this year he played pretty solid and hes only a rookie to.
i have seen him play, I just know in my head he's nothing more than a backup linemen plus he's gonna be 27 going into his second season.
DRob63CMart28: Let's be honest: Pouha was a disappointment last year. TheChadManCan: You know this already? It's been one year, no matter how old he is. 10P10: Maybe they're thinking of moving Jones to guard? I do agree that we need a right tackle more than anything.
What I was trying to say is he's a guy who needs to be motivated to play. Im not saying he's already a bust, i hated the pick of pouha last year and i never thought he would amount to anything.
