Did not see this posted, but perhaps I missed it:

I don't see it getting much better than this, Leon should take it IMO.

Well, if he can get this much, he may try to get more.

He needs to take this deal. If he doesn't, he needs to fire his fackin' agent.

this is probably their highest offer.

Leon's camp probably will try to milk a little more out of the FO, but I think Tanny isn't going to budge from here.

I'd offer the 5 mil a year, but keep the guarantees low - let Leon use his abilities to earn that extra cash.

    Take the money.
I agree he should have low guarantees and be forced to earn those extra bucks.

If he doesn't accept it then I don't think the fans are going to be on his side much longer... I mean, I know football is a business but not accepting 5 mill a season is an insult to us imho.

It depends on how the contract is structured (guarantees, incentives, stuff...). We'll have to wait for the details... I really hope he signs though... come on Leon!

The fact that he didn't immediately say "I'll take it" the moment it was offered bothers me. The last deal was fair to begin with (and actually favored Leon IMO.) This is too much for him now, so he needs to put his chickenscratch on the line and move forward.

Even if he does take it he will be seriously overpaid unless he becomes the starter. Without a cap he could find himself cut in a year when they don't have to worry about taking the cap hit.

This has to be a done deal. He would be foolish not to take this offer.
