No, it has to be flexed 13 days ahead of time. I think they decided to flex some bullshit NFC East match-up instead. Plus, CBS can protect certain games from being flexed.
This broadcast was an embarrassment. Multiple times they came back from a commercial and the game had already started.
Thankfully. I hate night games as a season ticket holder. Give me 8 1 pm games. Plus NE has played at night something likec4 of the past 5 weeks or something like that.
I'm glad this game won't be flexed. I'm leaving for AC right after the Jets game. So either i'll be drunk elated and gamble with joy, or i'll be miserable on the 2 hour drive down, get drunk, pass out, and maybe puke a few times.
They also went to commercial tonight rather then replay the Fitz fumble they were reviewing which was a huge call in the game.
I'm probably the only person who was bummed it was not flexed, today was nice. Got up at 9:25 AM and watched football on a Sunday morning for the 1st time this year. The only other "morning" game for me was the Colts game and I was in the States for it. The Phins game in London was nice as well because it started at 9:30 at night. Most games start at 2 AM for me and I fucking hate it....
Last night was hands down the least enjoyable viewing experience I've had during a football game. We saw more commercials than football airtime. I guess the networks have us in the palm of their hand because they know we'll watch no matter how much they shove commercials down our throats. How could they cut to a commercial after that Fitz near fumble at the end of the game? Most important moment of the game, but nah, let's see Geico Peter Pan for then eight thousandth time.
Also, I don't see them flexing the Giants/Vikings game out. Both teams are fighting for playoff spots whereas New England has been in for a while.
Giants will be totally done after Carolina crushes them today and Minnesota will have 9 wins an clinch after today. Game won't have much meaning. But hey they'll play Odell's stuckum gloves catch 9000 times
they'll run commercials about Odell Beckham Jr., commercials with Odell Beckham Jr. in them, and then they'll come back to the action where they will have some sea hag on the sideline tell us about Odell Beckham Jr's hair while missing the play on the field. They'll then put in a side note on what actually happened only to pan over to Odell Beckham Jr. to see his reaction to the play that we missed because they were talking about Odell Beckham Jr.
