#Jets President Neil Glat stepping down as team president and will be senior advisor.

Loving all this change. Let's bring in someone from the operations side of a successful operation. Reggie Mckenzie would make a lot of sense here as well.

Neil, say it ain't so! Maybe he wants to go to his true favorite team: the NY Giants.

All I know about Glat is he arrived in 2012, right when we turned into a joke. Not sure if he's responsible for that, or even what he's responsible for, but he's still in the organization so I don't think this means much. As for McKenzie, I'm not interested. Douglas should be the sole guy in charge of football decisions.

As for the game day experience, which I am pretty sure Glat was largely responsible for, he has created a mickey mouse bullshit atmosphere that is the antithesis to football. This has to be a good thing. I would kill to have the old stadium back but aside from that there are still ways to make Jets games feel like a football game again. Go to Washington, or Buffalo, and you FEEL like your at a football game. Go to a Jets game and you feel like you are at a mall and there just happens to be a football game going on at the same time. Going to the games is losing its essence and maybe that will change now.

Glat had nothing to do with the football side of things, McKenzie is a football guy. Not a business guy. He makes zero sense.

What does the Team President even do? I honestly don't know. Business?

I think it's all about bringing good leadership into the building. Ultimately Glat's role needs to be filled. Let's being in someone that is from a winning culture and continue building this thing right. More good people in the building the better.

Hes a behind the scene, off field assistant. He has absolutely nothing to do with Ws & Ls

He wasnt on the operational side of things. Hes a business guy, ran off field business. Why anyone, especially since most have no idea what he did, are happy hes gone is kind of funny.

Funnier is replacing a business off field guy with Reggie McKenzie. I'm sure Douglas would be all for that, lol

From what I understand, there was just something about Glat that was never Kosher

Have heard his name before but have to admit I have no idea what Neil Glat did or if he was heavily involved in anything or if this move will have any actual impact on anything.

Strictly the business end of the franchise. Nothing to do with the roster or football side of things.

During McKenzie's time with the Raiders they had 1 winning season in 7, an overall record of 38-72, (1) 3-13 season, (3) 4-12 seasons and their one playoff game in that time, they lost.
So do you want to bring in McKenzie or "someone from the operations side of a successful operation"?

Unless you change the nature of the position. Maybe we finally will have a VP of Football Ops instead of a bean counter.

We need someone that knows how to win. We're already pretty good at losing.
